Packing cubes are AMAZING. Sooo easy unpacking at the other end and keeping everything organized!
If I have space in my suitcase I like to take a plug adapter/multi board so I can charge multiple technology items at once.
Have found it so useful to charge items like my phone,camera,computer etc. X

Every time I travel I always find the pdf files of your packing lists from a few years ago. The city-break one is my fave!
Great tips! I always pack a couple of days of clothing for each of us in our hand luggage so if our luggage gets lost we have clothes to last us. Last thing I want to worry about if our luggage gets lost is finding clothes for me and/or my kids at our destination!
I loved the cotton pad as a compact protector. Over the last year or so I have really enjoyed your tips and lifestyle gems. You were the first vlogger/blogger I discovered, and you are still my favourite.

Love this video! I already do a lot of these, like rolling my clothes, and having a pre-fixed packing list that always works. But then again, it's different when you're traveling internationally and nationally. I have one for in-Sweden travels, and one for outside of Sweden travels, since you need a lot more when you go outside of your own country. Also I've never travelled with checked luggage, so mine's a bit shorter!
Packing cubes have changed my life! They are so amazing and really condense down your clothes. I take two so I can separate out clean and dirty clothes on the way home

I always take a travel size of Tide pen for pesky stains. A Downy wrinkle release and a travel size of Febreze in the Gain scent. So handy especially if you what to pack light and need to refresh you fav jeans or jacket.

I am that person that does one outfit per Ziploc bag. For vacations when fashion isn't so critical and you're not gone for so many days it's really helpful to not have to think about what to wear when on vacation!
I do this method for my kids when they stay at their grandparents and even label the day they can wear that outfit, but I've NEVER thought to do it for myself... duh! I have no idea why I wouldn't think to do this for me personally. Do you use a 2 gallon size zip-lock for your clothes? Not sure I could fit my entire outfit in just a gallon.
You will thank yourself later. :)
Im not sure what gallon size but its the Ziplocs that are about the size of a piece of paper, if that makes sense. I can usually fit underwear, socks, top, bottom and one other thing. The key is to roll and suck out all the air from the bag.

My tip is to have your packing list in computer/phone with check boxes , you tick off things already packed so it more clearly shows how many things you still have to pack. I'm using Google Keep and it works the best for me!

The best plastic wrap is called Stretch Tight. When you are out here in Southern California, you can get it at Smart and Final or Costco. Yes, it is that good. And the packing tip that changed the way I pack is to use the cube method. I got mine at Nordstrom Rack (I'm assuming you've experienced the Rack on other trips. If not, you'll be buying another suitcase for your return home).

I always add a cotton round to my compacts as well! It honestly works really well and I would also recommend it for mineral foundation. Hope you have fun in L.A. and Anaheim!

This time I will try the rolling-my-clothes thing! Sounds so handy. I always overpack with tops (and jewelry, but thats not that bad), but luckily never with shoes or pants. I'm flying to Ireland in a few days so I this came in handy :)

I always check the weather beforehand and i kinda plan my outfits. I may take 1-2 extra shirts with me. For shoes i take about 2, bags i mostly take one small and a big one. And i always take a jacket or something to cover myself with.

I know I mentioned this before on another video, but one of my favorite tips is that if you're traveling to multiple countries that use different currencies, you can find change purses that are divided. For instance I will be in Dublin and Belfast this summer, which use both the Euro and the Pound. Last time I went I got really confused and ended up with tons of change that I couldn't turn back in, So this time I'm taking a change purse with two sides to keep the coins divided. Hoping to spend it all so that I don't end up with lots of heavy change to bring back.
I am traveling to Iran next week and Im planning to bring back alot of goodies such as pistachio, Saffran, a traditional pastry made with pistachio and almond , some souvenirs for my freinds so I have to pack lightly even though Im planning to stay for a month

I don't travel a lot, but when I do, I put my toiletries in a plastic bag, so if anything explodes, it is in the bag and easier to clean up.

When packing toiletry items, squeeze the bottle to get the extra air out of the bottle and then put the lid on. Something about the air pressure makes them leak. No clue if that's true but it works for me.
I have some plain but nice shirts that I know I can wash in the sink/tub & then hang dry good to go. It majority cuts down on the number of tops.
