- Core Keeper: Desert Of Beginnings just got a huge update and in this guide I'll show you how to get the new legendary pickaxe Soul Seeker. To get this you need to find
Get all required materials
Get Cipher Parchment, dropped from Igneous the Molten Mass
Find the Ancient Forge in Molten Quarry, at a distance of 1600 tiles from the Core
Ra-Akar the Sand Titan is 1000 tiles from the Core
Igneous the Molten Mass is 1400 tiles from the Core
Stand next to the Ancient Forge, and then use Cipher Parchment

Your map is so clean, even the biomes seems to be well placed. Nothing like mine that is all over the place.

Accidentally stumbled upon the Ancient Forge and wondered what it was for. Now I know!
The no dura pickaxe. Oh my God I needed you 200 hours ago! and God knows how many walls ago that was lol
Ancient Pic Axe when scaled though still has a much faster mining speed. Since resources are so easy to come across, the need to repair it hardly feels like a set-back when comparing it to the Soul Seeker. Just my opinion of course though. Its still a great item.
It's only 2.4% faster according to the wiki

Didn't take 140 walls to get iron did it? I ask because you used the galaxite pickaxe for most of that mining...
Nah, a bit less but still not that great
@@Serroh You had 108 in your inventory before switching to the Soul Seeker, so it actually only took 32 walls to get your first iron.
i found the ancient pickaxe in the desert in a circle of desert stone walls that was filled with glow tulips and a stone stand in the middle that had the pickaxe and a white whistle was burried infront of it

@Serroh Although this guide is really good and helpful, there is one wrong information there. Soulseeker was not the "first" legendary tool that has been added to the game.
The ancient pickaxe was the first legendary tool added and got downgraded to epic after being nerfed. Maybe you could make a hint in your video or a short popup that clarifies this.
About the 140 tries. I dont know if you counted the times you used the galaxite one (cause thats the one you had equipped when you started showing off the proc chance, which doesnt have the proc chance) or the real one. If you did then it would clearly not proc, as galaxite one doesnt have the proc chance on it ^^

Yes but we refer to it as the first to avoid confusion. The Ancient Pickaxe was not meant to be legendary and the fact it is now epic and will always be making that info pointless.

@@Serroh You did lol, from 6mins31 to 7mins30 you used the wrong pick then you switched to the correct one haha!
@@keblin86 yeah I was testing out the speed difference. The perk on soul seeker is still 1.5% chance per block so the chances of ore is still crazy low.
@@Serroh owch! Yep that is low, however every little helps. It's just a little bonus really and makes destroying walls a bit more worth while lol

You were using the Galaxite pickaxe for a while, it wasn't bad luck.

Do you know the estimated location of the Thread of Fate for the oracle deck? I've been searching it for days but I cannot find the scene. Is it also deep inside the desert? Or more like closer to the core?
I just made a video on it, but my Thread of Fate was 100 tiles past my First maze

OK. i am convinced that you cant get that paper from that boss. ive defeated it 23 times. 8 times on hard mode to increase my chances and still no. total bs drop rate
finally got it after 2 more times on hard mode. holy. better luck to you guys
