Also mentioned in interview: Shaquille O'Neal, LeBron's high school coach Dru Joyce III, LeBron's high school teammate Sian Cotton, Penny Hardaway.
Dominated old guys when he was young and now domination young guys when he's old. Unbelievable.
All time leading scorer now. Wow
I always knew Lebron would get that mark, just didn't know when.
And still no end in sight

Zion will
Hakeem
When he first came into the league in 2003, I thought he couldn't be 18 and probably faked his age. Now at nearly 40 and still dominating, unbelievable.
He was already a man at 17 physically. The way he was talking and when he mentioned patience I could see he was ready from a maturity standpoint.
This kids looks like he will be a decent player one day
Looks racist to me

Na, he won't make it
I could see him making a couple all star teams, but idk.
I can see him winning his fourth championship in the midst of a worldwide pandemic
And now holds the record for most points scored ever in the NBA. Congratulations King James!!
All the Greats that came before you pave the way, but will forever be the 🐐 in my eyes.

And nobody had any idea that this kid would become the leagues all time leading scorer .. crazy to look back on
21 years later. No matter what you have to say about him, you gotta respect him.
Little known fact, Brian Windhorst was the first (local) reporter(local or national) to discover LeBron’s talent and pushed his bosses to give him permission to watch his games and write about him.
If Brian ate a hamburger for every game he watched of lebron's.....oh wait he did...lol!
You will never ever see this much hype out of a high school player like Lebron ever again. I mean not even Zion or Ben Simmons got that much hype out Lebron where nationally televised games with Dick Vitale were being broadcasted. Even Bob Costas asked Lebron essentially if you aren't in the hall of fame would you be considered a busts. To a freaking high schooler. That's as much hype as any kid can get.
He is one of the best to play the game.
No one, even GOAT MJ, would deny that any other player was faced with more expectations and exceeded them, than Lebron.
Yep. This is just starting to get recommended to anyone who’s ever watched and NBA RUclips video ever.

I like that the LeBrons James hype was not BS! When you saw his debut, you knew he was real, but who would have thought that he would be challenging Jordan for the throne?
They were already comparing him to Mike when he was in high school
He became better then Jordan
That coach had it made and he knew it.

Lebron is STILL the G.O.A.T on the court "and" off the court
I was at the Oak Hill game when he was a sophomore. I didn’t know who was, but there were two things that struck me. How he scored while seemingly looking to pass first. The second was although he was as big as he’d become you could see the power in him. I asked a guy from Ohio about him and he told me he just made the All-State football team as a sophomore. I said wow next year he’ll be a beast and the guy told me he wasn’t playing football anymore. I left that game and called a friend and told him I don’t believe what I just saw.
Cap
@@supadav4172 This is not “cap” at all. If you were around at that time you would know stories like this were common. First time I saw him he was in Florida at 14U AAU Nationals and never seen anyone play the game like him before in my life. He was 5’11” and control the entire game against a Southern California Allstars program that was featured on 60 minutes before because their AAU program was really good. Lebron was playing with those same kids he went to high school and made it to the Championship game. Went home talking about this guy named “Lebanon” James. By the next summer was 6’5”. Asked my AAU coach how good is that guy from Ohio and he said most scouts would rank him the best in the country going into his sophomore season but didn’t want to give him that high of a ranking yet so they put him around number 10 or so. He was and all state receiver and ranked the 2nd best in the state after Maurice Clarret so this guys story checks out.
