I'm clinically depressed. Even on my worst days this video makes me smile. It is an excellent portrait of Haruhi capturing her quirky spirit and indomitable light which redeem her from her (many) flaws. The sequencing of clips and the way the creators made it flow is amazing. AMV's normally tend to mediocrity at best. The part between her younger self in the dark and her pirouetting with the SOS armband is glorious and often gives me goosebumps.
Wow I came back to this 15 years after I first saw it at age 10. This is what inspired me to start editing and now I edit music videos professionally. Thank you. ❤️

I would get home and consumer a pleather of anime content, but now I struggle to do any of the things I enjoy. So much has happened since then. I've lost parts of me that I can't seem to regain, but I've also grown new aspects of myself. To the future me, I hope you've found happiness and success.
