lol can we stop romanticizing ridiculously small apartments in very rich "first world" cities where most real estate is owned by a small group of wealthy people and most working people can barely make ends meet? it's so dystopian
Beautiful apartment! I love small apartments because it encourages you to go outside! And you have a good size fridge, and washer (and even an oven). Really everything one person needs
In central Paris, of course. Here there's no reason to go outside, even looking out of my window makes me depressed.

I like it very much. I lived in a studio with a click clack in Paris. It was not as comfortable as yours but I made it good for me. My sofa bed was really comfortable . I was shocked. I think it was a bit bigger place but a studio. I am American. Retired now. I live in a small house near a beach. I think it is fun to challenge yourself to have a place for everything and everything in it's place. I am very organized and tidy. I would live in the smallest place to be in Paris again. I enjoyed the tour.
Can't believe you've got a washing machine in that tiny apartment. I appreciate your speaking English because it's said French men don't like to speak English. BTW, your accent is cool.

I love this apartment. The kitchen is well equipped, and what about that washer? It's awesome! There's so much storage and the bathroom is amazing! I live tiny, and I could definitely live in a cute little apartment like that! Thanks for the tour!

Allo Theo! My studio is smaller than yours... small is best, you know where your stuff are, and you buy what you need, you make it cozy and adaptable to your needs.
I am impressed that you have all the gadgets, air fryer, coffeemaker,oven, washmachine. ...I would love to have your apartment! It is small but very comfortable.
Just an idea, may be you could move your books in one of the closets, and with the library try to make a lower wheeled side desk ( so you can move it out of the corner if you want ), so you can use it as an " extra" mini low desk for your laptop, meals, or put your coffee and snacks on it, while you are watching your favourite films lying on your sofa bed, and the lightning on the wall, so at night it looks cozy as well.
Anyway, I would call it a "little and cozy Palace" , because it has everything what you need.

I agree what Loretta had to say. Moving the bed where the table is, specially in the winter time…you want your bed to be warm…
You have made it cosy & likeable & have utilized the space well according to your needs. The big fridge & spacious bathroom are an added bonus!

What a fantastic apartment! I used to sublet in the 5th Arr. If it were my place, I'd swap the desk and bed's location so that I could enjoy that lovely window and natural light. I miss Paris so much!
It is a fine apartment.... High ceilings and sunlight 😊
You must move the bed and the book case to the other wall and corner to access the toilette freely. Also you will have natural light from the window when working. Don’t worry about the bed facing the entrance door.

I just watched your second video about your appointment and you mentioned others mentioning swapping your desk and bed (the locations of each in the room), and you explained that it works best the way you have it, so I get it!
Salut Théo. C'est intéressent. I love this studio! Especially the cupboards and the washing machine. Good use of storage and use Théo! The price is a bit high, but the washing machine, storage and location costs as much these days...
This is a lot like the studio I had as a student (here in Switzerland), but I had communal washing. But mine was 18 square meters, plus 4 square meters for the bathroom/entry/kitchenette, so quite a bit larger. But mine wasn't as modern. Mine costet 600€, but 20 years ago.
What could be added if needed, is rollings storage baskets for under the bed, and foldable side table/ or a foldable pop-up table made of wood. Like that you can have coffee in bed without any worry about crumbs. I like that you can transform the clic-clac into sofa, if you need more floor space.

Very nice! I lived in a 9m2 in Paris with shower inside and toilets in the corridor, shared with others..... it was more than 10 years ago, you remind me of this time of my life

Change the position of the bed and the desk so that your are looking out of the window while you are working. then you could access the bookshelf more easily.
You have more built in storage than I have in my whole two-bedroom apartment!
I LOVE your appartment! Really enough space for the essentials. Smart layout of your bed, desk and projector. Great space for storage, perfect kitchen, lovely bathroom.
I love small appartements. I live in a 41m2 appartement with my dog, 450 euro per month (bought it in 2016, i was lucky), 30 minutes from Amsterdam. I travel a lot and enjoy live with my family, friends and dog. If i didnt have this appartement, i would buy a tiny house. I'm a minimalist and I love small appartements/spaces!

I currently live in my parents' home here in the Philippines and I am determined to move out for a more peaceful life. I definitely agree with what you said about waiting before moving / moving out. Everything is so expensive now. A major decision done without much thought would be a disaster. So, I'm really trying hard to save and invest so when I am ready when I move out.
As long as you are comfortable, that's what matters.
Nice place! I also live in a small studio for the last three months, in Germany. Would have preferred a bigger one, but since I got laid-off unfortunately I had to change and scale down my apartment. Love Paris and hope some day I can finally move there.

Your apartment it’s so beautiful and cozy🩶🩶 I also live in a small apartment of 26m2 (monoambiente here) in Buenos Aires🇦🇷 it’s the same situation of yours, like my hometown house was so huge and here I have learned that is also possible to live well in a tiny apartment! You guys need to understand that big apartments in Paris cost a fortune : if you live in a 95 sqm (1000 sqft) apartment in Paris then it's REAL luxury.

The bathroom is the best feature. At first, I thought you lived in a chambre de bonne...which is too yucky for me...but to have such a nice bathroom makes the small space quite nice. I wonder about ventilation of the bathroom--if it's adequate with all the steam and if there is a mustiness--but I love that it is modern. I like to take many showers a day!

Also i'm growing some plants and tests it if i can grow it full so that i have confidence growing many. And practicing arts. Thats my typical day in a tiny place 🎨🌱

Luv your apartment,it is nice and cosy and very practical, I live in a 2 x bedroom,2 bathroom with a ensuite in the main bedroom n a bath tub plus shower with toilet in the main bathroom with 2 balconies(1x off the lounge n the other off the main bedroom)+ lock up garage + storage n a backyard in Sydney cost $1720AUD…not cheap but that’s Sydney for you…
My apartment looks about the same size as this apartment. But less storage 😢I am really happy here❤❤,just a little more storage for my art and crafts supplies would help .

The view is on the backyard of the building, not the best view but it's really calm this way !

Ah lovey petite place, the bathroom is super, pretty great kitchen….. what I’d think could u change the ad to the desk area and the desk where the cupboard is. Hang a nice big mirror so it reflects the window. Bed idea, there are IKEA hacks that lift a bed. E.g kallen cupboards, you can put baskets in it, and underneath you’d have room for e.g. a carry on, or don’t you travel? (I have 80M2, not big but compared to 14, huge haha) and I sooo need to declutter, just find it a horrible job. 😂
Love your place! You have everything you need and a washing machine. A true luxury! I would just add two things. A pot of some sort to have herbs in just outside the window, if it’s possible. And as a fellow cineast: a white pull down on your movie wall, above the bathroom door. So you get a plain wall when watching movies 😊

Coucou je viens de découvrir ta chaîne et j'ai vraiment trouvé sumpa ton home tour. Pour un 14 m2 il est vraiment bien pensé. Je suis d'accord avec toi en ce qui concerne le confort par rapport à la salle de bain et au coin cuisine. Pour ma part, j 'aurais mis des étagères aux murs, des rideaux aux fenêtres et surtout je n'aurai jamais mis de bureau face au mur. Une petite table amovible et une étagère et le tour était joué. Je ne critique pas du tout ton installation, je te donne seulement mon avis.
Tout comme toi je vis dans un petit appartement avec une disposition atypique et cela a été compliqué de le meubler de façon optimale, mais j'ai tout de même réussi avec des meubles de seconde main pour la plupart.
Je ne vis pas à Paris mais dans le sud de la France en front de mer dans une résidence qui était à l'origine destinée à des résidences de vacances et non à la vie à l'année.
J'ai eu la chance de tomber sur un T1 bis de 30 m2 avec un mini balcon vue mer. Et je paie la moitié de ton loyer.

Yes I think many apartment like this one would cost about 650-700€, but it was a renovated place and in a good location, that increased the price

Nice Apartment, but too small for me. 😅 I live in Berlin near the castle and the Spree and I pay 450 € per month for 50 m2. The last 20 years I paid just 380 €. It's really cheap here when you live very long in the same Apartment.
A Mattress Topper might make the mattress on your bed more comfortable.

How did you find this place? through an agency? Also, I have heard it’s very difficult to open a French account with the bank and without a bank account, the landlords would not rent to you and cannot turn on utilities, please help! Thank you
