I'd say we pretty much share the exact feeling about Hevisaurus! You put what I often try to explain to others in words!

Really hoping to get, or at least watch the movie sometime, was surprised when I first heard this band, happy to know of them.

I started learning finnish and this year i will be spending christmas in Finland for the second time - all because of Hevisaurus. Honestly if they decided to make a german version of the band, i'd sign up as Riffi Raffi in a heartbeat XD. However, i have a feeling that the german version wouldn't do much better than the hungarian one.

Finland is a lovely country, I intend to spend new years there as well, from what I've read a German version -does- exist but I cannot find anything from them, only the original, Swedish, Hungarian and Argentinian ones.

The scene with Olavi Tikka in the film was very interesting (lol, I recognized him immediately) due to the fact there *are* five of them, so your assumption that this might be the current band's line-up has merit. If this is the case, this may mean that Nino Laurenne isn't performing Riffi Raffi at this point, but he seems to be on staff still as their manager or producer.
That said, I really enjoyed these videos, and the research you put into them. :).

I browsed Finnish Wikipedia, and here’s what I gathered on the lineup:

      Herra Hevisaurus - Olavi Tikka
      Milli Pilli - Hanna Risku
      Riffi Raffi - Kimmu Nissinen
      Muffi Puffi - Vesa Kulhman
      Komppi Momppi - Ville Siurainen

forgive me for being 7 years late to this but to answer your question, which you likely have already forgotten even asking (lol):
Nino Laurenne has (seemingly) never played as Riffi live, at least not regularly. originally Riffi was played by Ari “Ade” Manninen (from 2009-2011) and is currently played by Kimmo Nissinen. Olavi Tikka, on the other hand, has still been credited and presumed to be the singer for the entire duration of the band (even now). i really just assume the movie scene was meant to be a little easter egg for more astute fans watching in the audience.
