Precisely! I was already jumping for joy after Baldwin asked the question. I thought the answer will come so easy from Venus as it was exactly her story... It was literally spoon-feeding and that MU org I thought favored her to win! I was totally, utterly disapppointed when her response was a blah!
IMHO, when Venus Raj was asked that question, I immediately thought she could share her struggles about losing her national title but regaining it later. Similar to what Mister Pageants have recommended in this clip. Of course, if the stars are not aligned with you, no matter what you did - they still won't give you the crown. It's really the destiny of the contestant to win or not.
Tama na. Tapos na ang boksing. Stop dwelling on "what if's" and failures of the past. Her sweet success and recognition after the competition is as good as wearing the crown.
All she needed to say was 'all of us commit mistakes, whether major or minor. What is important is to acknowledge our mistake, apologise to people we offended, learn from that mistake and move on'!!!

I really don't think she would win even her response was good With her horrible gown She would only place 2nd runner up, Mexico and Jamaica where neck and neck from the very beginning, Don't get me wrong Venus was my favorite miss Philippines and i was just getting goosebumps when she was called as the finalist on top 15 And i was just thinking that she could have won during her swimsuit performance coz it was just spectacular so as Jamaica and Mexico is But she lost it during her evening gown, Ireland and Albania were way more better than her i guess it was the crowd who help her get through because maybe the judge and the whole production were very overwhelmed by the cheering of the crowd for venus But i say it venus was my favorite miss Philippines ever and if she had another gorgeous gown and and answer the question even in a mediocre way she could have the crown

But, for me the best answer she should have was citing her " during my college, I secretly kept a boyfriend from mother. infidelity of him causes the break up and that made me focus... devoted my time on my studies ...and that was the reason I graduated cum laude. " 🤣🤣🤣 wether she was telling right or merely a lie at the very least she answered the question.
