I've always liked how Kato and a couple of other Japanese manufactures use the book case method to store trains. I have several Kato Shinkansen and I love them!
My pre-order is in for this one. I hope Kato USA will start carrying more of the lines from Kato Japan. There are a lot of Japanese rail fans here in the U.S.
No one will probably see this, but could you make some Metrolink cars to go with your Metrolink F40. Since it was re-released in September, it seems that adding some Bi-levels would help boost most commuter rail models that you currently sell, as the bi-levels are used through most of the country. Also, F59s would probably sell well to.
Just a short comment: usually the ICE trains don‘t use their horn - only in emergency situations. (Frankly spoken I‘ve never heard one although I‘ve been using them quite often.) A typical sound would be opening and closing the doors.
I'm afraid that licensing for the Orient Express trains is very strictly controlled - you won't see any releases in the US and the ones in both Europe and Asia are highly restricted due to the license holders.
We have plenty aroudn, but doing years of trade shows where things are constantly getting bumped has given me plenty of practice putting trains on tracks without it :)

Always nice to see something new.
Wow, you are buying a model train of KATO which made in Japan. The DCC sound is a great. Good job !
Now I can make an Amtrak ICE test train!
That sound decoder is awesome! Just as good, and maybe even better than Loksound!
Nice! 👍

What decoders are installed? I pre-ordered the standard set from Kato, and want to install sound after the fact.
They are special ZIMO decoders made specifically for this train, MX605
Also polar Express
A concept, a “Eurostar” variation for this Siemens Velaro model ;)

Amazing ballast! Can You make tutorial, how You make it? It is Kato ballast?
It is our ballast, yes, color matched to our track. We sell it as a standard item in our track line. Item #24-039
I purchased the original release, will the ZIMO DCC Sound module be available to the public separately?
This is something we're looking into.
