You have no idea how much I appreciate you. Great content, energy and just overall teaching.
You are one of the reasons I learnt to code. When I was younger I used to copy your old projects with purple rain or droplets animations and I loved them. Although I didn't really focus on programming or computer-science I went to a pure mathematics college. Still, your influence on my career choice was significant 😊
I think if I was going to be stuck on a deserted island for some unknown period of time, and I had to hypothetically choose a single website whose entire content I could download to keep me happily occupied, it’d be the coding train. Dan, you are just truly a wonderful person and what you’re still doing after so many years is just endlessly inspiring, mate.
From Perth Western Australia, sending you an awkward fist bump/handshake eventually devolving into a tearful hug and the need for security to be called
❤❤❤
Looks great Dan! You're such a boon to the community!
Love your work Dan. You've been inspiring me for years now. Thanks so much for all your work and that happy positive attitude, it's really contagious 😅❤

What an awesome website, the GT Maru font really fits!
Great site! Congrats on the launch!
Such a beautiful mind! And a mindblowing ressource you have built over the years. Thank you so very much!
I like the colorful design of this site! Very pleasing
So happy for you, I have been watching for years and your content just gets better and better 🕺
This looks like an absolutely brilliant community!
Love Codingtrain content! Almost always mention it when talking to anyone about coding.
amazing ♥♥♥ thank you for all your work
This is awesome! Ive been watching since ~2015/16 and I love that youve grown so much!
in 2015 i had just started college as a CS major. Im now a SWE at a large tech company! And I do have to say I learned a lot from you! To be honest, I never watched to learn. I LOVED your personality and style. The learning was a side affect. By the time I started watching you I was already past the basics so the stuff I learned was approaches to problems. It was interesting to see how you approached something and thinking about how I would have done it. Andd since I spent hours watching your videos, I sometimes picked up a thing or two. For instance the the QUADTREE is something I had never heard of but it was a fascinating data structure. And one day I realized that would be perfect for a little side project I wanted to do
Anyway thank you for everything and may this Coding Train forever pick up steam :))
Wow, thank you for sharing your story!
@@TheCodingTrain No, thank you! Truly. Ive shared your channel with anyone that is willing to listen. I think its an amazing gateway into programming!
Many, many thanks for all your engagement, great videos and projects over the years.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Congratulations on the new website!
😊🎉
Greetings from a passenger from Austria!
🚂🚃🚃🚃🇦🇹 😊
Your videos are a great resource for anyone learning to code. Thank you for creating it!❣
Your website is very pleasant. I'm not a user, it just inspires me.
I love your videos they reignited my programming passion
Congrats on the launch
Thanks for all of your help and support!
@@TheCodingTrain And thank you for being such an inspiration!
Thanks a lot Dan!! Fantastic work!
Hope you make tutorial for React js , Typescript and Next js 🙏. Love your videos 👏
Wow! this is amazing :D I love the new design thanks for yout great content
Hello, I wonder what you have there? A climate spiral executed in 3d virtual zoom? It turned out pretty epic on a grand scale and now it’s clear why the videos haven’t been released for a long time For me personally, due to the fact that I can’t remember the authors of the processing language, I always think that you are the author of this wonderful development environment, in general, processing in my opinion is not a dirty development environment and not overloaded with all sorts of unnecessary tools, it is easy and understandable, after learning object-oriented languages, processing like a pencil instead of a chisel and a hammer, many thanks to the developers for such a convenient tool, and to you for making videos and teaching programming on the highest level! You should have called your site "Daniel Shifman's show" about how he masterfully owns the code, knows all the reserved words, and can easily switch to an old computer from the 60s and easily depict a 3d cube in assembler.
yeeeh hurrayyy !!! 🚂
Hm, nice new design but where' s the Search input field for doing a full text search?
Dan, heel veel succes!!
You are a legend Dan!
What a gift to humanity
Great website! Congratulations!
"I'll play the devil's advocate here. Your work deserves better. You have a great personality, and you're fun to watch. Frankly, your videos are really valuable. However, the website is unfortunately chaotic and disorganized. There are a few aspects that I like about it, such as how it reflects your style, the graphics, and the use of monospaced text. They are all directly connected to your RUclips channel. But when it comes to navigation and making sense of the website at first glance, this company did a horrible job-unless the mission is to confuse visitors. I would suggest reconsidering the layout.
Here's a functional method for testing: Give someone who has never seen your website before a piece of paper and ask them to make a relative mark on that paper EACH TIME their eyes scan or jump to a new element on the page (including the multi-face images). If the marks are too numerous and scattered across the page, then you know..."
Can you make a coding challenge writing a raycaster renderer on the apple 2
Great Dan! It's Amazing!
This is really good 👏🎉
You did thar on an Apple 2!?
Nice web :) I'd like to suggest a built-in dark mode, since it doesn't seem to be very compatible with DarkReader, and some people may find it too bright.
I've gotten this feedback from others too! Would you mind filing an issue? github.com/CodingTrain/thecodingtrain.com/issues
Quedo hermoso sitio! felicitaciones!
excellent
the ui is too bright and lacks some contrast.
Props to the website designers. There's a lot of meat in that sandwich.
BROOO!!! This is the best website design / layout since I remember from far away 2006. I LOVE IT! 🏳️⚧️
Sir could you make a video on programing fundamental video, So that anyone with non Science students could learn I want to learn programming but everything goes over to my head😢
but you forget 1 thing.. HOW TO SUBMIT IDEAS TO NEW CHALLENGES ????
i miss you bro
How are you such a badass
Could you consider to make an application with the ChatGPT?
Hi m8, Im pretty much new to your channel. But im not in to Java etc.. Im learning C#...is there any chance you could do some videos on newer languages like C# ..PLEASE !
Absolutely love your videos, the way you teach and present information is something to be strived for by teachers around the globe. Unfortunately the site is a miss for me, the design firm tried to go way overboard with the "train" theme via the ticket layout and the site is entirely too difficult to easily navigate when looking for your videos and breaks so many of the ingrained ways people look for information on a webpage. The style itself is neat, I love the characters and the theme, but the layout leaves more to be desired.
its ugly
Way to go! Coding Stonks
Loved!!!❤
This is truly one inspirational work you have been doing. It is not only educational but empathetic and honest.
I truly admire this. I hope to find some time to contribute to it somehow!
Beautiful ticket concept for UI design. Love the site! Congratulations on the launch. Let's go choo choo 👍
Wow. What a game changer in organizing educational content. I am so excited for you! Congrats! 🎉
Thank you Natasha, great to hear from you!
This site is so clean! Absolutely love it! Congrats Dan!!

The bubble font is cool and all but honestly distracting

Where's the dark theme? My eyes are burning up :(
I have heard the same feedback from a few people, will consider this!
We miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis you Dan!!!!
Working on the Nature of Code book I'll be back soon!
@@TheCodingTrain you are awesome
coooooooooool
amazing , already planning a contribution
Looking forward to it!
Thanks for your great work?! I've learned a lot of things!
you look younger now than in videos you made five years ago
how is this possible???
good luck with your new website, it looks very cool
and of course, thank you for sharing your knowledge
I love the font you chose for headings, its the first time I genuinely even considered the price worthwhile. But in the end, it’s just not reasonable for a personal project.
Congrats on the new site, looks great, kids today got it so easy with these kind of resources, I literally had to learn everything from books
Website looks great. Your lighting and the grey background look very professional too!
There is a problem with the subtitles. It seems the whole video text is displayed at once, during its first second, it doesn't even fit in the screen. Then after that, no subtitles for the rest of the video
I'm not seeing this on my end, if you want to email help@thecodingtrain.com with a screenshot of the settings of the player and what it looks like maybe I can look into it.
@@TheCodingTrain Oh, i was about to e-mail the issue. I found out it was just a small bug from youtube on my end, it seems the video was set to auto translate, from english to english (?) not sure why. Changed it to the main subtitles and it worked, and that translated option is not even there anymore.
please can you make a rubik's cube in apple II with hgr and raytracing
This is really cool! I appreciate your efforts
I love it. So fresh! Great job Dan!
I'm incredibly proud of being a very tiny part of this community!
Hope you are doing well Eric!
@@TheCodingTrain I'm reminded of one of my favorite Soundgarden lyrics: "always I, and I survive". ❤
Sir i became fan of yours...request you to make videos in python also. It will help us a lot.
What's up with the rainbows ?
