I loved watching this today! I read Andrew's post this morning about how Worship is Warfare, so I got up and started dancing to the dry bones rattling, and singing every song! I was participating as though I were there and went from drained & exhausted to invigorated and inspired! Praise the Lord!
One of the reasons we gather as a church is to corporately praise and worship our Lord, but I don't think that the modern church knows what true praise and worship is. Most churches play top 40 Christian radio hits. Example: The "dry bones are rattling" song is neither praise nor worship, it's self motivation, like the majority of the songs performed at churches all over America. I don't have a problem with motivational songs especially if you're feeling down and defeated, but those should be played at home or during your daily commute, not during your separated worship and praise time. What's the difference between praise and worship? Praise is when you are singing about God, worship is when you're singing to God. What are self-motivational Christian songs? Songs that constantly say, "me, I can, I will, I am." ☺️
Thank you Jesus!!!!❤❤
