This was halfway through their 2 hour concert, and they still had energy to burn. Roger the drummer said that song was the hardest physically for him to play. Deacy is bopping around like no one is watching, he’s gorgeous! And Yes, Brian is the best guitarist. He was voted so just this year, beating out Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen and Eric Clapton
@@sergreacts I usually have "the Blahs" on the day after Christmas... but today, I spent the morning binge-watching ALL of your Queen/Freddie reactions. ;D
One of my favorite live performances!! Great reaction!! I love the part at the end when Freddie raises the half mike stand above his head cuz at that moment he knows Queen killed it. Freddie might be the first to purposely drop a mike after a great performance!! Okay - I need to build that time machine “Wembley here I come, who’s coming with me?” Btw, you have a lot of Queen yet to do ... over 15 albums not including their solo work and live performances. I think you would LOVE Queen’s concert opener at Wembley ONE VISION/TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN. The crowd goes crazy!! Queen’s moto was “blind, deaf, & dumb the audience” and leave them wanting more!!
Brian May is the best guitar player of all time, totally agree with you, and Freddie the best frontman ever, of all time, universes and multiverses. That outstanding man had such energy and talent, WoW!!! And Queen the best band. Period. Merry-Freddie Christmas everybody 🌟👑👑👑💖💖💖🌟🎤
"The Best Guitar Player Of All Time" still plays his own special-guitar, which he build together with his dad in the early 60s as they couldn't afford to buy an e-guitar! If I rember it correctly, the most expensive part of the guitar were the strings: 2£ ....! The guitar is called "The Red Special" or "The Fireplace", because they used the wood of an old fireplace for the guitarbody! As a tremolo he used a knitting-needle and the coils were hand-crafted, which means to wrap a thin wire around the coil for 2,000 times and he needed more than one of them!! As a pick he used a 10 pence-coin, which he still uses to play it! And that is where the "magic sound" comes from! :-) Later on and for shows he used replicas of his guitar because he was afraid to loose it, but he still uses it at recording-sessions. And be sure: If this epic guitar will be on an auction some time in the future ... it will cost some million of money, no matter what currency you'll pick!! That's what I do remember, but I will be wiser if I would start to read the book I bought. It's a book about THIS GUITAR which Brian wrote. It's called: "BRIAN MAYS RED SPECIAL: The Story of the Home-Made Guitar That Rocked Queen and the World" *no_advert_just_an_info
Written by Brian May (don’t think too many people realize how many of their songs he wrote) after their first tour of the US as a support band for a group called Mott the Hoople. Great performance and reaction. And trust me there’s a lot more Queen for you to react to. This whole concert is fantastic. One Vision, Tie Your Mother Down, A Kind of Magic just to mention a few songs for you to check out.
You know by know- these men- no ear pieces- no auto tune! Live live live!!raw talent all!!! Rogah was awesome - his own band’ The Cross’ was pretty successful too . Roger was good.
Just watching them wears me out! Freddie flying up and down and across the stage - yes Brian is the BEST!! And still is! Brian and Roger still tour- they are in their 70’s. My legs couldn’t have held me up!! My Lord!!
I was lucky enough to see them perform this in Adelaide last Feb. sadly, no Freddie or John, but nevertheless it was an amazing experience and one I will never forget, best two plus hours of my life. Brian still is the worlds greatest guitar player and Roger is the best drummer /singer too.
How do you run back and forth on that huge stage and sing like Freddie??? and how do you play guitar like Brian while running downstairs ....and how do you play like Deacy ...and how do you do what Roger did for two hours??? ( just asking...)
