Since i started parkour, dive rolls have to be one of my favourite moves. Most of my favourite clips include a roll. You broke this down really well for anyone new to dive rolls. I urge people to get better at them, its literally the most ninja move there is. Big up Dee mate you smashed the game with project dive roll!!!
Looks nice man, Really dig it. Sometimes for rail rolls do you find that you stay to one side of your spine for the entirety of the roll? Just curious as I thought I saw one like that in this video.
If I'm intending to come off the side of the rail, then I do them with one side of the spine more. In the example I did in the video, it wasn't a good roll!!
First time I saw the more ‘straight’ diagonal roll was David Belle in the B13 chase scene when he dropped and rolled onto a small balcony. I tried it for a couple of years every now and then but I never got it to be so comfortable as a more diagonal roll. I think desensitizing your tissue/bones is a part of learning to roll comfortably, especially on thin obstacles.. what do you think CP? Can rolling on something like a rail ever be ‘comfortable’?
Did my first diveroll pre and ended up pinching a muscle on my right arm between the bone and forearm cause it hit the back corner of the medal box lol love the love tho just your too good

I love these athletes that find a love for a move and they’re like, “yeah, I met I can do this EVERYWHERE”

Yes 100% your back needs to get used to the impact! It'll definitely hurt when I first started, but my tech got better and my back got more resilient.
