How come consecutive even formula x+2 , x+4, if X=1 answer should be 3,5 ryt

The series is same-->> x, x+2, x+4, x+6, x+8.......
If x is even, for eg x is 4 , then the series would be 4,6,8,10,12,.... (Consecutive even numbers)
If x is odd, for eg x is 5, then the series would be 5,7,9,11,13,.....
(Consecutive odd numbers)
