    I couldn't believe my ears!!
And yeah before my interview i watched your video about your experience and it helped me alot

During the interview, Visa Officers type the whole conversation and keep it for the records. If anyone gets rejected in their 1st attempt and reapplies for their 2nd attempt, they should remember about what they actually said in their 1st interview. I know a few people who got rejected on their 2nd attempt just because they said different versions of answers in both of their interviews.

this is an anecdotal statement, but faking confidence doesn't work. I focused on trying so hard not to appear anxious that I couldn't communicate my intents and plans and answer the questions asked by the visa officer to my best ability.
I personally think it's best to actually find a way to manage your anxiety, so that the thoughts/plans you have in mind can flow freely during your interview.

My F1 visa has rejected yesterday the visa officer was so rude he just asked me 3 questions why study in usa why chicago and why do you want to continue your study. I answered him properly but even then he refused my visa i honestly don't know why. He did not check my I-20 letter he did not check my financial statement he did not check my property list he did not check my transcript he did not even check my passport before any decision he directly rejected me. But one thing i just noticed it's all about the mode if their mode was good so they will approve your visa if their mode wasn't good so then this will be your misfortune no matter how eligible you are how much money you have spent how much struggle you did for this visa then these things are just useless if their mode wasn't good. And one more thing in the last. he did not even look at me he was just busy in his computer and asking me the questions. Interview is just a formality.

I've applied to US for F1 student visa 5 times because it was my dream to study and visit US. I didn't have any intension to stay there forever because my father has a very good business in our home country Bangladesh. However, for the first time when I've applied and got rejected, I didn't shock because I thought I did some mistake but second time they gave me rejection letter without any reason. I was insane and didn't give up my dream to study in US as they provide quality of education. But I'm really surprised when the last time I went for interview and they reject me again although I've admitted from two very good universities with $5800 scholarship per academic year in one of them. The visa officer asked me 2/3 questions those really surprised me, I was thinking how can a consulate officer be nonsense and stupid. He asked my father's bank statement, when I show it, he says, did you sign on the paper in place of bank officer? I was totally shocked. By the way, after all these things I've lost my respect to Americans. They are nothing but stupid and nonsense.

As the Brazilian person said, your coffee is "no coffee", paraphrased.
You should try the single sourced coffees from countries like Colombia, Italian expresso, African varieties, Vietnamese, etc.
The best is Arabica (not Robusta) medium or dark roast.
Get an over the stove expresso machine, made it Italy.

I got rejected because I have had a caution for assault which was 7 years ago. I'm not sure if I should bother trying anymore. I have family living in the states yet because of my past I am not allowed a second chance. I know I messed up but there are literally criminals coming in from the US to this country and they're allowed to unchallenged. I have also noticed POC face much more hurdles in getting a visa to visit the US.

I got asked why US and why this course. I just answered that US is no.1 & it will help me gain real world experience. Thats it and rest of the questions were related to how will i pay my fees. No need to really emphasize about coming back to India and about "if possible i would like to gain experience", that means you wont come back after studies (even if for 1 year), and even though you have right to get OPT/work permit. Anyway, I did not get asked about post study plans so not entirely sure how to answer that.

So, is it better to inform em about this as one of the fund for my education?

I will soon go for my f1 visa stamping and I am in H4 visa in USA right now so if the visa officer ask me why I m changing my visa status what should be my answer? There are chances of rejection.
