bruh ur paying mostly for look and brand name at this point (its a heat spreder issue since the cooler isn't actually in direct contact with the diy it can't cool it under 40/50c )
Not featuring the Thermalright Peerless Assassin is wild considering its only like 30-40 bucks, and is comparable to some liquid coolers and top of the line Noctua's
I have that on my 5600x, if I recall correctly. It’s. Pretty great. Acoustics are solid, that includes both loudness and tone. I really got it to replace the stock cooler because I didn’t like the noise. Mission successful.

Deepcool products are great. They are built well, last quite sometime and are reliable. They are very cheap in my country, like now and then many items are sold out.
The reason the 360 did worse then the 240 is that it generally runs way quiter as the 3 fans dont need to spin very fast if its not getting hot either way
Ok listen up. I got an old aio from a prebuilt. I bought a new pump a second radiator some small rubber pipes you see in pools and fish tanks and some distilled water. Cost maybe 60 bucks. I have a custom water loop with 2 radiators and all the pipes are held together with crymps and flex seal. It doesn’t leak and it keeps my cpu nice a cool. So it don’t take nothing expensive. It looks ghetto but it works
Tbh around $30 the thermalright Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit does the job better imo and I'd choose that again because the temp difference isn't a lot
Depending upon your cpu, a air cooler might good enough but for higher end CPUs like the i9s or ryzen 9s it is a good choice to liquid cool them. I think in this video the overall best cooler he mentioned is the 4th cooler, the deepcool gamaax 240.
Gonna go woth the corsair H150i. Rocking 50°c after 8 hours of hard labor for my rig and a solid 31°c when Im just browsing the internet and watching shows
Overall temps are important sure but not if it makes your pc sound like a jet’s about to take off. Cheap coolers can be fine to get temps down but typically make a lot of noise doing it 🔊
air cooler is the best, life time free maintenance, consistent temperature and very cheaper, but ugly as F while the AIO make your pc looks more clean and elegant. btw i had deepcool 400fs(CMIIW) back on 2010, and still works today like new
All fans and pumps were at 100% start to finish, but yes a different CPU gives difference results We were just hitting the limitations of the CPU materials under full load
Liquid cooling for a 5600x is kind of pointless, considering the extra money you spend for the liquid cooling could get you the next level up CPU, or a better GPU. Right now the best bang for buck is the Thermalright coolers, they offer cooling performance of air coolers double and even triple the price.
seems like the $30 air cooler is the clear value winner, however i wonder how this would compare on a more high-powered CPU like a 14900k for example. a test like this makes anything above $100 seem really stupid, however anything more than the $30 air cooler with a 5600x is complete overkill and probably won’t make much difference, the PC probably notices the temps and makes the high end coolers run low the whole time, but i bet the higher-end coolers would make more a difference on a CPU that would need more cooling
It would be basically the same, it's more powerful by a long shot but takes basically the same wattage so it wouldn't go above 70, if you wanna test a water cooler try a 14900k, it will literaly cook you if your not careful
Why get the elite? The normal one has the same performance the only difference is the lcd screen has higher resolution and refresh rate and its way more expensive
Laughs in aroura r7 liquid cooler hasnt gone past 60c on load and says at 40c on idle also got the whole pc for 150 bucks nothing was even broken just very dusty

Maybe u should test some less known brands that are cheaper. On my i7 13700kf with oc at 5.7 ghz I'm having it at around 60°celcius while gaming with a 360 AIO from xsilence. I use the non rgb and cost me less than 100€. Not promoting them , just saying there is options for everyone and it doesn't need to cost 500 freaking $$$

Because it's the 5600x, this CPU could easily be cooled by the provided stock cooler, liquid cooling is overkill for it.
Low power cpu so makes sense
Ist about looks and he uses the 2nd worst Cpu of the last gen
You should try this again with a 7800x3d or a 14900k
I have a 7800x3d with a kraken 360 aio. I consistently only get to about 60c under load 20 to 30 degrees less for idle.
7800X3D is not that hard to cool, bad idea
that 14900k is gonna be screaming for help when a 5 dollar cooler is used on it
Nice
7800x3d can easily be cooled with a $20 cooler, but I have mine cooled with an $80 aio just for aesthetics
Damn that 5 dollar cooler sucks lol
And with the exact same cooler I got 96c temperarures. Or the cooler sucks, my pc or maybe both suck
It's probably just better off with the stock cooler from AMD

I second this. Got it in my rig and it cools the 7800x3d flawlessly. For 35 bucks its the best cooler on the market
I have it and it's the best air cooler aside from overpriced noctua
Yessss this ☝🏼
I have that on my 5600x, if I recall correctly. It’s. Pretty great. Acoustics are solid, that includes both loudness and tone. I really got it to replace the stock cooler because I didn’t like the noise. Mission successful.

The one that costs 30$ obviously
Arctic Liquid freezer III laughing in the corner at 70$ (360mm)
I have this, its awesome
Thermalright Phantom Spirit(Flat Top), Artic Freezer III 360mm and 420 should have been referenced.
As long as it stays under 60, I’m considering it more than good enough.
Artic liquid freezer 3, it’s the cheapest at around $140 and cools way better than anything on the market rn.
140$? I can get the Arctic liquid freezer 3 in Germany for 67,77€ (Vat included) 😮

I’d do the Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE (ARGB or non-RGB, I’d probably go with non) with 5 heat pipes, costs like $20 and seems really good
The 30 dollar one has the best value. Amazing difference of 20 degrees

Noctua NH-D15 is my favourite.
Best thing about an air cooler is it will likely never fail after a long ass time and can be used on numerous builds
And the fan can be swapped if it fails
Tbh around $30 the thermalright Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit does the job better imo and I'd choose that again because the temp difference isn't a lot
Anything above 35$ (If you spend on the right cooler) is overkill.
Probably the nzxt for the warranty and easy drivers and capabaility to use all my fans with one program rather than 3/4

I prefer Noctua. In my country it cost only $100 and good for any condition, especially room without AC and bad airflow.
I have a $90 cooler. Depending on my fan spin my cpu is either 48°c or 54°c
Not a lot of information that could explain the differences. Also, a much higher heat load would’ve seperated the coolers postions better.
