Hello from Brownsville, Texas. Thank you for sharing that spectacular tour. It’s like riding along that beautiful scenery. I own an old bmw r1100rt with only 12,000 miles . The k1600 will be my upgrade. That bike of yours sounds super. Cheers and enjoy the rides.
Hello. Thank you for kind words. I really enjoy driving the K1600...either the GTL or the GT. Hope you'll have nice rides in Texas too. Sincerely Kjetil
Hi. Glad you liked it. I am not sure how it is in the rest of the world, but in Norway it is a custom to greet other bikers by raising your hand. I think it is a nice custom. Also, in Norway, we are learned to use the horn only to avoid danger.
First of all, congratulations. It was a very nice video. What tire brand and model do you use? What was the temperature difference between the starting point and the ending point? Since my English is not very good, I used Google Translate. So I apologize.Thank you in advance for your interest and understanding.
Hi. Thank you for good words. I am not sure what kind of tires that are on the bike, but I assume it is the standard tires that BMW use on their bikes. The bike is a 2023 model BMW 1600 GTL. I think the temperature was about 22 degrees in Geiranger and the temperature at the top was approx 10 degrees. Sincerely Kjetil
The bike was so new that it had not had its first service yet. That was the reason for the warning light; the bike telling me it needed the first service.

Thank you for the wonderful tour of this part of Norway. :)
Thank you, Barbara!
I hope BGM include verion.
I am not sure what you mean with "BGM". Please explain. Sincerely
bravo...
Nice easy riding style. Too many riders just want to go as fast as possible.
THank you! Trying to be a safe driver, even more so with a passenger onboard.
I agree, but Schaaf has left the chat. 😄
Smooth ride.👍 You always raise your hand, why not using horn when you pass other rides?

Why orange warning sign?
The bike was so new that it had not had its first service yet. That was the reason for the warning light; the bike telling me it needed the first service.
Theres 6 gears, use them
Hi. We all have our individual driving style. Have to respect that. I do use 6th gear a lot, but not so much going uphill from Geiranger to Dalsnibba.
Please change gear a bit more, the engine is screaming
I like the sound of the six cylinder engine. It is not screaming in my ears.
Screaming? You should hear it at 8500 rpm. That was purring. Love my K1600 B. Heia Norge, hilser fra staten Washington, USA.
