  • This is useful!
    Awanfi has created a portable backup generator, but instead of running off of a gasoline motor, it runs off of a stored lithium battery.
    Trick features such as built-in flashlight, DC/AC, and dedicated USB outlets really make this versatile.
    For me, this is all about ease of use while out doing RC shenanigans. We frequently are places were we don't have access to power. This will let me charge RC batteries, drone batteries, and GoPro batteries...all at the same time!

    I have the exact same model awanfi power station that I got back in May 2021 and it was used moderately. It is now December 2022 and it is dead. It will no longer charge at all. FYI for those planning on purchasing this brand.

    Any update on how many batteries you can charge throughout a day in the field?

    • @RoadsideRC
      @RoadsideRC  2 года назад

      I've never ran it down. Used it to charge multiple batteries, never went low enough to note.

    How many battery packs can you charge before it goes dead?

    • @RoadsideRC
      @RoadsideRC  3 года назад +1

      Great question! I really should have put that in there.
      So far, I have only used it once (it has been too danged cold!!!) charging smaller batteries and it has barely used 10% of the storage.

      @@RoadsideRC yeah I've read on a Amazon review that it used 20% of it's power to charge up a laptop/labtop 😇 in 2hrs. So it might be worth having... it will be good if they made it that small and be able to handle a microwave, refrigerator etc🙈but that's in the future. I remember back in the day when I was a cave man we use to cook meat in the ground or over a slow flame with a stick through it, but now it's the future and we have microwave oven's...Lol😇

      Ha! Nothing happens without the microwave!
      It says it can power a small heater or outdoor flat-top grill.

    What is the discharge rate?

    How much mah is the battery capacity?

    • @RoadsideRC
      @RoadsideRC  3 года назад

      It is a 300wh battery. Assuming a 12V load (like with my battery charger), that would be 25ah.
      Assuming a 5V to charge my GoPro batteries, that would be 60ah.
      25ah at 12V should be enough to charge 5, 5000mah batteries from dead.

      Thanks. I’m thinking about buying it. Looks good. Overall would you recommend it? Quality, build and power?
