Magical Mali - Drone footage from Timbuktu, Mopti and Sahara desert

Unfortunately the security situation makes it difficult to visit Northern Mali - an incredibily beautiful region in the Sahara desert. Took the road from Bamakio to Timbuktu a few years ago and recorded some drone footage along the way.

It's a desert, you can tell there is underground water sources because they do have tree's in the city
