I am planning to take up law this coming academic year 2024-2025 to pursue my ultimate dream. Eversince kindergarten I have dream to become a full pledge lawyer, I always thought that being a lawyer well be an immense help to those voiceless most especially those people in marginalized sector. I always believe in saying that "You need to fight for what you think is right".

The reason why I am in law school today. Wala na pong filter . Gusto ko pong makaahon sa kahirapan. Wala na po akong mga magulang. At yung mga kapatid ko naman ay may kanya kanyang pamilya na . Apat po kami pangatlo ako. Isa po akong call center agent. Pero kahit ganito po ako. Nag aaral po ako ng law at nagpapaaral rin ako ng bunso naming kapatid . ( Hati kami sa gastos ng Eldest namin kasi yung pangalawa kong kapatid ay wala ng pakialam sa amin) Kahit po mahirap ang nag titiyaga akong makapag aral dahil alam kong wala na akong aasahan pa at ayoko pong maranasan ng nkakabatang kapatid ko kung ano yung dinaranas ko noong ako ay college palang.
Kaya po sa videos nyo nlng ako umaasa na iniisip ko na ikaw yung private tutor ko. Kung wala ang youtube at Lex in Motion. Siguro wala po ako sa law school.

I pursue law school Atty. Lex because aside it is my childhood dream (to become the first lawyer of my family), I also wanted to serve the people, especially for those unfortunate and underprivilege. I remember Atty., every time we conducted a legal aid activities in our Clep program, ang sarap ng feeling ng nakatulog sa kapwa, lalo na nung napalaya namin yung señior citizen na bulag na naka kulong dahil sa pag tutulak ng druga. Hinde matutumbasan ng pera ang nadarama ko nun.

My reasons are purely selfish and self-serving and probably shallow. I want to study again. After years and years of working, of teaching, I want to go back to school and work hard as a student. I want to challenge myself. I want to know that I can do it. I never once thought of ever becoming a lawyer. I will be turning 40 this year, with 16 years experience as a public school teacher. I have two Master's Degree but I don't want to pursue a doctorate degree anymore. I did not learn much from those forays into post grad. Just me going through the motions for future promotions. But this time, I just want to do this, selfishly, for myself.
Why am I here?
I am in law school because I want to provide legal representation for people who do not have access to it when they need it most. I realized that not everyone is as privileged as we are with resources, and my purpose is to share the blessings I receive through pro bono work as a future lawyer.
This is how I want to change the world - by serving, protecting, and defending the rights of the people with all my heart.

My primary motivation in entering law school is to be an environmental lawyer. In my volunteering stints with various organizations advocating for the protection of the environment and educating communities of its importance, I have heard disheartening instances of the effects of the continuous neglect of our environment. I also heard inspiring stories of localized actions by volunteers as their contribution to this humanitarian cause.
I also love Bulbasaur, so I also think that contributed in my advocacy for protecting the environment, and later on in entering law school to become an environmental lawyer 😂🍀
