And the Sion pick was because HLE baited them into taking Senna before removing all the good farming tanks (banned kench, picked naut 2-3, banned ornn). T1 not respecting Delight's naut was dubious too I guess.
Tbh Viper has gapped Gumayushi everytime they played. And peyz is overrated imo, he's good at positioning and playing fights with his team but individually he got gapped by fking Aiming. I do feel bad for the DDOS situation tho, Even tho Viper is the best adc in the world, Guma is easily top 3 on par or better than Ruler. The gap was a bit too big to be just normal play.
The HLE team is genius, have Doran, Peanut and Delight to dominate domestically and have Zeka Viper to carry internationally. This is the way HLE bros.
To say that this series was disappointing from T1 is an understatement. Zeus was either getting fathered by Doran or was running it down. Oner got gapped by Peanut. Faker was fine, played good the first game but was completely invisible in the other two. Guma was STOMPED. And Keria was out of it. I'm still rooting for them but my god this series was just bad. On the other side HLE was on fire. Viper my goat. And Doran with the classic vs T1 buff. Not taking anything away from HLE but I do feel bad for T1. HLE is on masterclass performance today, all of them performed relatively well in all games especially Peanut and Delight. T1's gameplay was very dizzy today which makes them gapped pretty hard in comparison. I know their practice was off due to the ddos issues and stuff so hopefully they can bounce back this sunday and for the remainder of the split if they managed to succeed there.
Couldnt be more proud for My Boys in HLE, but Keria ability to land a hook over the smallest Windows timed perfectly is astonishing to me. I Know he likes to deal dmg but engage engage supps are way to go for him in general and specialy now in season.

Viper is very consistent and for sure a top 3 adc but the main difference for the team are support and jgl. they basically got the best lck jungler and support from 2023 who were already playing together. Doran has been one of the best role players in top for a while even if he blunders sometimes. it just fits very well. 2 hyper carry players, best playmaking supp in the league and 2 players who will sacrifice themselfs for the teams success. just a well built team imo.

To everyone crying about how t1 was bad, remember t1 literally hasnt been able to scrim or play soloq for almost 2 weeks now due to the ddos attacks. Faker and kkoma literally talked about it in the postgame interview, including faker tweeting about it, calling it unfair. When has faker in 8 years of playing this game EVER said something along those lines? Never. Not saying hle didn't play well, just saying I think results would have been different provided t1 could practice.
No other team ever makes excuses like this. When RNG were half dead with COVID, they played, conceded the loss, and didn’t say shit about how unfair it was. T1 players could practice off stream and doing internal scrims, and HLE players are getting ddosed too.
Not to be the T1 lawyer but it’s pretty unfair to expect them to make the series competitive against arguably the best team in the LCK when they aren’t even able to practice. Especially when it comes to the current roster, who often stand out for their mechanics and teamfighting. Not being able to play the game quickly degrades your mechanics.

Im not a pro, so maybe im missing something, but the corki vs azir matchup always feels so azir favoured. They both can just free farm in lane but azir has opportunity to get kills with ult + a more reliable dash to get out of ganks. Mid to late game azir is going to do more damage except when corki has package, and the tower spawning passive helps so much with macro. It also feels like the number of useful packages vs the number of good azir ults is always azir favored. Just feel like when youre some of the best mechanical players in the world azir provides a lot more value than corki does.

@@ojfehThe drafting in game 1 and game 2 was terrible, so it’s deserved. Giving Senna Naut to Viper Delight is insane. And despite Delight carrying the series on Naut they refused to pick/ban it. And it’s hard to be upset with T1 players since they literally cannot play the game for weeks. T1 roster stands out for mechanics and team fights, and those skills degrade the fastest without playtime.
damn i had no idea DanDy was the HLE coach. he's a player that still sticks out as a fav. i started watching pro around 2014/2015. i think his play at worlds 2014 is like top 5 all time player performances. absolutely ahead of everyone else in mechanics and in map control and vision. it was sad to see him fall into obscurity playing in the NA minor leagues. awesome he's back in korea finding success.

To everyone crying about how t1 was bad, remember t1 literally hasnt been able to scrim or play soloq for almost 2 weeks now due to the ddos attacks. Faker and kkoma literally talked about it in the postgame interview, including faker tweeting about it, calling it unfair. When has faker in 8 years of playing this game EVER said something along those lines? Never. Not saying hle didn't play well, just saying I think results would have been different provided t1 could practice.

Not to be the T1 lawyer but it’s pretty unfair to expect them to make the series competitive against arguably the best team in the LCK when they aren’t even able to practice. Especially when it comes to the current roster, who often stand out for their mechanics and teamfighting. Not being able to play the game quickly degrades your mechanics.

Im not a pro, so maybe im missing something, but the corki vs azir matchup always feels so azir favoured. They both can just free farm in lane but azir has opportunity to get kills with ult + a more reliable dash to get out of ganks. Mid to late game azir is going to do more damage except when corki has package, and the tower spawning passive helps so much with macro. It also feels like the number of useful packages vs the number of good azir ults is always azir favored. Just feel like when youre some of the best mechanical players in the world azir provides a lot more value than corki does.
On the other hand, Cprki chunks half of your health with one rocket.

And it’s hard to be upset with T1 players since they literally cannot play the game for weeks. T1 roster stands out for mechanics and team fights, and those skills degrade the fastest without playtime.
damn i had no idea DanDy was the HLE coach. he's a player that still sticks out as a fav. i started watching pro around 2014/2015. i think his play at worlds 2014 is like top 5 all time player performances. absolutely ahead of everyone else in mechanics and in map control and vision. it was sad to see him fall into obscurity playing in the NA minor leagues. awesome he's back in korea finding success.

The only thing they couldn't do was Solo Q. It's an LCK source - T1 head coach.
They could only scrim against their CL teams (which hardly helps). Other teams avoid scrimming with them because they would often just DC and pause for hours - Caedrel
Apparently the DDOS attacks reached the point where they were unable to do any scrims. However, they seem to have found some way around it now. Source- T1's GM
