When I found this music I hadn't seen the game and was disappointed when I found out it didn't look like this cover art. It makes me imagine some super nostalgic platformer with beautifully detailed animation, like the original Prince of Persia or something. If only.
Truly a showcase on how expectations create disappointment. Not that we can easily help it, but maybe try not to judge an experience wholly on expectations. You may have been less disappointed with Anodyne if you had.
