Captain Tsubasa 1983 is the best than the others for me. But, after I saw Captain Tsubasa 2018 Season 2, it is more complete because in this version there is a love story that I never seen before. And I really really love it 😍
1983 is the best one for me. Hands down. Maybe it’s the nostalgia of the original one, but can’t be helped in comparison even tho some other versions also look great.
I must admit that the musical themes from 2002 are great, but I also like the one from 2018 (and now 2023, which is already airing a sequel after all the suspense and finally there is no reboot again), both Yes music like the animation and the right rhythm it has, compared to the other versions, which went very slow, or goes very fast. That's why I prefer the 2018 version more and now I like the currently airing anime called "Captain Tsubasa: Junior Youth Hen". But still, I respect the tastes of others.
I saw the 2001 one, it aired in Mexico at the time and I was like 3-4 years old and the only thing I went by to remember it was the style and animation (I’m very glad I found the name) so yeah I will probably have to see the OG one 😂
