Dinesh Mongia was a part time spinner that India could use. In the final he got Ricky Ponting out when he was batting in 40s (I guess) but it was not given. The result could have been different with DRS.

Unforgettable memories for 80 s and 90 s kids. Especially this match was crucial winning for India against kenya. one of best innings of dada. Everyone thought it was quite easier to win against kenya initially. But totally disappointed, and changed the conditions after india lost first four wickets. It was shameful for india, If india would have been lost against kenya first time. Finally Sourav lifted this match with yuvaraj Singh. Thats why I still love dada.
Many will agree, we were so happy during this entire tournament, though we lost in the final. But good thing, people were happy with India 🇮🇳 performance.
