- There are some super common issues in every rank, and today, I'm going over how to fix them and catapult out of any rank in Valorant.

This episode my peak went from P3 to ASC1 and another thing i want to put out for plat/diamond players is to go out of your way to be weird. In those ranks a lot of players go on autopilot and only think about the most common things that could happen, making counter-play really easy and effective. Each map has hundreds of off-angles and cringe spots that never get used in those ranks, use them and abuse them.

@@Theswagster-hc7ml He said for Plat players to get a duo and a 144hz monitor, i'm asc2 and i'm at 75hz and solo, you can definetely get much higher than plat without a 144hz. If you can get one though, it will make your life easier.

I am a Plat player and will really look into what youre saying, thx. I also looked the Diamond tip as its my goal to reach diamond in episode 8. And it actually made me stop and think about "respecting your opponent a little too much" I think this is a problem not only Diamond but also noticable in Plat and maybe even in Gold.

yo im in the same place, recently hit plat, and yeah watching ur games is definitely something important people dont do, you can probably improve at least twice as fast if you review and actually implement

I would personally agree about the over respecting. I've being doing that for as long as I can remember. I just ranked up to plat today and my mind from the beginning was telling me that these are actual plat players and I need to play something passive like kj because I will not be fragging out
I was right in that I was bottom fragging but this mentality does not need to stop me from ranking up
Went from gold to diamond in ep7 act3 with like 120~ hours. I think you should push for immortal as that’s the rank that’s actually high elo from gold to diamond I would just fight and over time I got better at fighting so I won more TLDR just fight more and play more

When I was in Silver, I would play a many controllers and Initiators. I definitely think the first fundamental you stated there is very key because I started ranking up after I communicated my util with my team. As well, it is very important to watch streamers at all ranks, in any game in fact, in other games I watch pro people play and see how they play.
The fact that he said get better equipment to leave plat is insane, i was stuck in plat 3 for an entire year+ when I used to play on 40-60 fps, I recently got a new pc and can play on 200+ fps and I went to d3 so easily
My duo is an asc1 peak with 60Hz and a pc that costs less than 100€ on the market atm
His pc crashes when he opens spotify over valorant
Also his gpu has a 60-100ms delay before ot sends something to his monitor

i watched my first video on october 31st as a hardstuck plat 1 players and become diamond in less than a week and reached ascendant on december 23rd. The diamond part was so true. I started to think that players knew what they were doing since there are so much content out for educational valorant. Only to find out that not caring and just instalocking reyna was the way for me. I ended up being a very consistent fragger and ended up getting to ascendant.

i’m high plat i been stuck at it for some time because i haven’t played as much, but my problem is decision making, i peek angles i shouldn’t because of patience and timing, you dont need more than 60-75hz to get out of plat or diamond but its way easier

As a starting bronze and current plat player. Until your gold focus on mechanics and positioning. Once gold learn how to effectively use util. At g3 to hit plat play meta agents and focus on team play. Diamond idk I’m not there yet.

I'm peak silver and you're very right. I really do need to adapt to my team. I also need to communicate more. But usually my team doesn't reply (everyone's sooo quiet, Asia server)

the secret to ranking up is just playing the game enough and communicating with your teammates.
its so easy if you play well with your team. im getting carried 90% of the time gameplay wise, barely getting any mvp's while providing my most skilled teammates with support(through abilities and comms).
im almost asc1 now.

Hey how do I find these custom games, im immortal right now and I really want to improve at a fast rate but every academy course i see has a money requirement. In addition the only custom games i can find are streamer custom games.
It's a bit region dependant tbh. I'm from oce and there aren't really any customs that people run. Best bet is to play premier and try to find some dogshit team to play scrims and make your name known

I was plat a few months ago and then I quit. Now I’m back and I’ve started playing a lot now and I went from silver 2 to gold 1. My lobbies are literal ai. I get high gold to plat teammates that play like silvers. I really miss being plat and having good teammmates

Is a 100hz monitor enough?
my peak is diamond 2 99rr and im currently hardstuck plat 2/plat 3 i recently got a 144 hz monitor and i have been getting a lot of match MVP now but im still not ranking up so im a bit confused on what im doing wrong. i have a duo i have the monitor i have played the damn game enough i feel ( 1.1k hours ) and im at a point where im confused at what my next step is.
the way i personally got out of plat was to assess situation and taking control, i would ask teammates why they think this isn’t working and how we can counter. it’s always good to have the mindset of “i have to carry this game.” if you are struggling with your mental, turn of scoreboard and mute enemy chat.
What would be a good mouse sensitivity for me in valorant? I use 800 dpi and amount sensitivity of 0.4. But I’m not sure if that’s a good sensitivity or not.
I’m ascendant and I use 800 dpi .199
a little on the higher end imo but definitely usable

7:48 Me who's playing 60hz monitor with my whole life but i'm in Ascendant 2. Sadly, i am at my elo hell, i have to upgrade my pc up to 165hz at least.
If anyone is curious about how did i climbed till Ascendant although I'm playing in 60hz monitor.
Sometimes, I'm exhausting my aim in Range. I play like 1 - 2 hours spending on focusing my aim and movement, once i'm done. I just play Unrated for like 6 - 8 matches to push over the limits of my exhaustion. When i'm really tired, it's time to sleep. By tomorrow, I gained muscle memory, the only warm up I do is 3 - 4 deathmatches then it's time to rank.
At this point, there's a possibility that you'll have more consistent in focus, good luck!

144+ hz monitor is reccomended for diamond+ i reached plat with 60hz later on i upgraded to 165 and got to dia-asc easily pretty
