Looks good but im still stressed about the game being way too action/combat/parkour focused and ditching all the RPG elements of the original. It can have all the flashy spells it wants and nice textures but if I can't dialogue my way through at least 2 thirds of the game or have multiple paths and choices and consequences for how i tackle quests and areas then it's a failed sequel in my eyes.

If you don't I suggest you look her up, well she tested the game, from her words she did say that she played 40 hours I think? and she barely touched the surface, she loves Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines, therefore I'm sure this game has the dialogue we are all searching for.

The few snatches of gameplay hint that there'll be at least "Dishonored level" immersive sim elements. If they deliver on at least that, consider it sold!
The main draw of Bloodlines was the world, story and writing so as long as that's good I'll put up with it but from what they shown thus far of bloodlines 2 I have my doubts.

I like it but I hope they up the resolution for those with consoles/PCs that can handle it, the opening detail on the vinyl and the joker family were way sharper than what comes after it.

@@pt8292 I love indie games but The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and What remains of Edith Finch are also years old indies and they're far superior in graphics. Bloodlines 2 looks very dated.
@@LewisTwigg I'll have to disagree, man. I love games like Rogue Legacy or Shovel Knight. Even Firewatch, also an indie, had cartoonish graphics and it was still awesome. It doesn't seem at all like an aesthetic style they went for, and more like what they tried to achieve and didn't get anywhere close.

I thought we just did. The part with the glide and downward swoop, as well as the guy burning in the hall while the player turned, and many other scenes were in-game footage. Off the top of my head, only the parts with dancing looked like they were not in-game footage.
This trailer was perfect. Phenomenal. It was the real Bloodlines 2.
