On Sunday Carlos drove Charles grey Ferrari and on Saturday Yuki travelled in daniels blue Honda , was lucky to see and wave them,😂😂 was waiting in the pouring rain to spot all of them , glad we saw most of the drivers, thanks Kym for your last year Zandvoort vlog to get all the infos to get in there !!😊
A lot of drivers where staying at camping Bloemendaal with their motorhomes! I saw Bottas, Russel, Alonso, K Mag, Danni and Toto! I think there where a lot more 😊 I was also staying there and stood next to them
as french i immediately recognized the car in the thumbnail because we often see meharis on beaches because they're basicaly citroën 2cv with a squared plastic body and as everybody know there's a lot of these cars left in France so there's thousands of meharis in france. Since years there's a club which can produce an entirely new 2cv or mehari nearly from scracth in the south of France : 2cv mehari club Cassis
That Citroën Méhari is kind of a pickup variant of the Citroën 2CV. It has the same engine, chassis, wheels and some other parts. As the top is all plastic, it survived the 50 years it is probably aged now (and in that climate it is in).
I have come to anticipate and love the bloopers at the end of Kym’s videos. One of the neat and enjoyable Easter eggs in all of his videos. (Except one).
The Citroen is really famous here, I'm surprised you've never seen one before near the beaches of south west France ! They're cheap rugged and especially funny to drive with some friends and a beach side road
Kym, we need your story sir, how did you find yourself traveling the world taking pictures and reporting on the most prestegious of racing and drivers in the world?
This vid is so useful bc I was standing at the entrance at Saturday and Sunday but because of the lichting I couldn’t make out who was in the car but now I was abele to figure that out 😆
I assume that because many manufacturers have their EU base in Germany, they provide the vehicles for those races from the cities they are located in. For example Ford´s EU HQ is in Cologne (K on license plate), Honda and AM EU HQ in Frankfurt (F) and Mercedes in Stuttgart (S).
I think it's because some cars are fairly rare and are not easily available everywhere - but the manufacturers want the drivers to be seen in this hot new metal, so they find a way to source them....several manufacturers have hubs in Germany (e.g. testing centres, factories, etc.) that would probably have these rarer vehicles available; for instance, Ford's European division (Ford of Europe) have their headquarters in Cologne, Germany - perhaps why the Red Bull's Mustang Mach-E's have German plates
Just thinking, why RB drivers are driving Fords who aren't even powering /sponsoring RB until 2026. They are still Honda lowered, so should be in NSXs I think.
I love the channel but as a new formals 1 huge fan I can’t understand how this sport is fair, I mean whoever has the most money has the better change.. Even baseball a smaller budgeted team ha a a chance but there is 00 change in formal one
Hey Kym, why not join up with one of the global car hire brand's privilege programs? Or a couple even. No queuing, no paperwork, straight to your and go.
Oh yes people that race cars are so important and busy you can’t wait for a hire car like the rest of us…. Give me a break! It’s that your rich and privileged

Love the insight you give us into a race weekend Kym - thank you :D
i must confess, that was a slick and subtle way of tossing a sponsor/ad in there F42 travel

Another fabulous video!
Who else thinks RB + Ford is a freaking wierd combination. It just doesn't feel right. Miss the days when Max/Checo drove in some sick Type-Rs
oh I love this background inside info stuff!!! you are ACE on this!!! Keep it up, I am watching!
Thank you! Will do!
When I was a kid, our neighbours had a Citroën Méhari. I loved that car. They used to be very cheap, but nowadays the prices got pretty high.
Thank you for mentioning the ridiculous car prices in this country

You certainly know a lot of what's happening. I appreciate your investigative journalism!
Someone has to do it. Cheers
Hey Kym, Can you do a video of what phones all the drivers and team bosses use!
Yes please and why are there ladies with the drivers recording what they say to the media?
@@juliswift i guess they are members of the drivers PR team
Charles on a Ferrari branded scooter...it must be a Scooteria....
The glazing is insane
Thanks for sharing.
You bet
Fascinating as usual.
Mehari's are really popular in the south of France
Good place to have one!
My uncle has a méhari. He loves it
What a great car!
I saw you, you stood on the scaffolding type of thing in tarzan corner and you are also on my Lewis Hamilton poster in my room😅😅
I’m delighted to hear that
Kym, we need your story sir, how did you find yourself traveling the world taking pictures and reporting on the most prestegious of racing and drivers in the world?
He's done a video on that topic of course

@@mcschnurkewell i also guess, that its becouse netherland is so close to germany and there are much more rent cars than in netherland
Some sound logic there. Thanks

Toto Wolf drove in a White S class 4matic. Aston Martin reserve drivers (Stoffel Vandoorne and Felipe Drugovich) drove with escooters 😅
You are thinking of things that not excist
@@peterwilles7227 I was at the Zandvoort GP last Weekend and even made videos of what i am talking about.
The yellow Citroën looks a lot like the Volkswagen thing from the late 60s to early 79s.

Ford already started their marketing with RBR. Hence why they’re driving Ford cars.
Ferrari can’t even drop off their drivers without having issues. 😂😂😂

Why aren't the Ferrari drivers not driving a ferrari purosangue? Looks more comfortable
So who was wearing the not matching shoes???
How about Liam Lawson?
Didn't capture him arriving
Only reason why would you want to be in the Ferrari seat is to drive Ferrari on friday, saturday and sunday 😂😂
The Ferrari drivers’ car game is always tops in the paddock.
They provide some beautiful cars
@@KymIllman yes. No other team’s drivers are getting anything approaching an SF90. I don’t see Aston Martin giving Valkyries to its drivers.
That odd looking car I'm thinking where have I seen that thing before....gonna guess James Bond?

The great Lewis Hamilton always amusing with his unusual apparel.
He wears some interesting and bold outfits - but he wears them well!
You didn't make any comments about the PURE e-scooters a number of drivers seemed to be using.
All Type R’s have red seats 🙄
