I have the same controls in a UK Vauxhall Astra J. I never use the two buttons furthest to the left of the module you have in this video. I would love to be able to figure out a way to wire them up to the indicator controls instead of the stereo. That way I don't have to move my hands from their position on the wheel when indicating and cornering. This video takes me one step closer. I now need to figure out the wiring.
Me: (impatient) Unlpugs battery. Doesn't wait full hour. Two minutes goes by. Now three. Feeling like an eternity. Decides to start poking and prodding the steering wheel from behind like a cowboy with a hot rod to cattle. Then Boom Bap right in the kisser, I'm down. Air bag explodes! Words ringing in my head. "You should have waited the full hour."
I have a 2010 HHR LT that does not have media buttons on the steering wheel. Mine only hase Cruze buttons on the left side of steering wheel. Can I buy a HHR steering wheel with both Cruze control and media buttons to replace and install my existing configuration? Will there be pre-existing wiring to even do it or is it a lost cause?? Thanks for your feedback!
its the same process, just the cruise control harness is tucked away, you can see it at 5:39. its the white quick connect wire seen looping out and back into the steering wheel.
@@cornellaurentiupopa8771hi bro, did you install the cruise control on the same model steering wheel? I have bought the cruise control switch, but I'm not sure whether I'll be able to fit in the same steering wheel, as the left side is fully closed with some kinda rubber thing. So is it removable?
Hi there, could you please give me advice I have vauxhall insignia 2010 and I have changed the steering wheel over but I am using all the switches and airbag from original steering wheel and all the switches work no problem but when I put the air bag back on and turn the ignition on the horn is on permanent 😢can you please advise me cheers

Possibly the F31 fuse. The radio station selector button on the left and backside of the steering wheel on my Chevy Equinox LT 2019 stopped working recently. I'm just doing some basic checks starting with the fuse. I think the fuse failed. The dealership "service guy" said the whole steering wheel would likely be replaced. What crock! I asked him to check which fuse applied to that switch, "Oh, the system is not that good or detailed," so I left. But not before getting myself a nice cup of coffee from their free machine in the customer waiting room. I'll never trust dealerships. Ever.
I cant get over how obnoxious the intro to these videos are. So annoying having to adjust volume after the intro every time with that volume and the main video volume varying so much.

It is not enough to install the buttons. You have to activate it and it is not that easy. I have it installed and I can't activate it
I have the factory wiring and I put the buttons on it but now they have to be activated for them to work. How is it done?
