True. Though he did directly oppose Sauron and then taunt him (via the Palantir, of course). Tolkien did consider the faithful Numenorians to be very special. Definitely, Sauron had much more time to work on Saruman, you're right there. No way was Aragorn as powerful as Saruman.
Hey I enjoyed your video and lore talk. Your video was good and you could be very much decent at this. But just some small things, the videogame is great and provides something visual to help with the audio content, but turn down the background volume a little as it takes away from your discussion. It needs not to be silent but just not at a level where it conflicts with you. The free flowing structure is nice feels more genuine than a strict script. However a more outlined plan, like your list, would help just keep direction and having an approach that makes sense helps listeners follow too. Keep up the good work and I look forward to hearing more.
Thanks for the comment. All feedback is good, so thank you for giving me such detail. I have considered recording on separate tracks and mixing after, but doing it all at once is handy. Something to think about definitely.
He does that in the movie. Not in the book. Though the Nazgul seem to be wary of Aragorn's presence in the book, at least they clear off quick once they've stabbed Frodo. But also maybe they can't directly attack the wielder of the The One. Never was clear to me how Frodo got through that scene.
I always figured Aragon spent less time with the palantiri, that’s why he wasn’t corrupted while Saroyan was.

Aragon is powerful enough to drive off all of the Nazgul at weather top with a sword and a torch..
