hello this was a great video... but how about the Logout button. ionic 5 is complicated in Navigation have tried. but after logout the menu is stack on the view..any ideas

Create custom component for header then instead of writing in every page you can write your custom component

You can hide/show menu item depending on user's role

Use tabs or back button
@@mpembainc if we want to hide menu bar from welcome and login pages what has to be done
Use MenuController service to disable it. MenuController has method called enable, you can pass false to that method to disable the menu

With ionic you can get almost everything you get from android studio
