This year’s Boyle Arts Festival was officially opened by Hollywood star and renowned Broadway and television actor/writer Chris O’Dowd, in King House on Thursday, July 18th.
The evening's celebrations started with a parade that was a vibrant representation of creativity and community. It was lovely to see the clouds shift in the early afternoon and the sun made all the difference to the evening's celebrations.
This was the last weekend of this year's festival and what a success to was...it was great to see the streets so busy and the town so alive. A huge well done to the committee on organising another fantastic festival and thanks for letting us be a part of the celebrations by recording this video for the opening day.
