My husband & I found one of these exact packs at Big Lots today. We got really excited bc we saw the 2012 date & Pokémon cards can be kinda scarce where we live. Opened it and more than half was energy cards - albeit those energy cards WERE from 2016, but still. There was a holo healing spray. It was definitely disappointing and seems phishy.
Bought one of these in store and pulled a Charizard SM60! Not super expensive but was really surprised! The issue is most of the time people look at the cards because they put the holo in the back so they tilt it and look with a light. I caught someone doing it in middle of Walgreens! Basically like someone selling light packs...
I think that the problem with Pokémon is that people are always after the chase cards and in the process you end up with a crap ton of bulk that you don’t want. People that actually play the game have some use for it to build decks and stuff but they don’t need this much bulk either. They should have 6 card booster packs to solve this and to lower the price per pack which I think everyone would be happy with.
The thing is that i saw this at big lot and the card at the front was a celestial storm reverse like the diamond reverse i saw in the front barley but its 6.99$ and i didnt get it

Never really open these mystery packs, one the biggest reasons that I love your channel is all these interesting mystery packs/boxes openings. Although it doesn’t often end well.
I have recently started collecting with Celebrations in 2021, so anything older than Sword and Shield era stuff is good enough for me. But seeing you open up these, there's no way I am buying this. Thank you for the video though!
These are sold for making decks for the TCG my guy haha definitely not really for “card worth” or money making purposes. But fake cards ? That’s messed up man. They also shouldn’t have put “promo” on them - definitely shady
I bought so many of these sketchy blisters from my local drug store as a kid between 2005 and 2010-ish. Some of them even had fake base set cards and Japanese/German cards.
The only way to do mystery packs is to buy them at a reasonable price for what you expect out of them and then wait 10 years to open them. Guaranteed to at least make your money back lol
As tempting as these look, I'm glad we know to steer clear of them now! There's something special about opening a booster pack and being the first one to see the cards inside.
These are the same as the "mystery packs"they sell at target and Walgreens that say 15+ cards +one foil card and they come in a blister with no artwork and they look super sketchy
Never opened these up, mystery packs with just cards and not sealed product doesn't scream safe to me. Nothing like the thrill of busting the seal on sealed product and the feeling of opening a pack. Keep the content coming Rev, such variety in your videos recently which is great 🙌🏻
Definitely never opened these, but! I did open some of those like 1 in 10 seeded vintage pack mystery boxes and pulled a sealed EX Legend Maker pack! By far the best thing I've pulled from those boxes, aside from 8 Platinum Arceus packs I held onto that have been a fine addition to the collection, value-wise
Anytime I have watched someone open up one of these packs that has the cards facing backwards with a “foil card” inside its ALWAYS a reverse holo that isn’t anything special.
These are sold at Big Lot Stores. I bought some one time and they were $5.99 a pack and I didn’t pull nothing, just the same stuff that you pulled in this video. I only bought a few packs but I wouldn’t buy no more. Thanks for the awesome videos!!

Sometimes when I ask my aunt that I want Pokemon cards she gets me these, though having the old cards are pretty cool not worth getting these. You would have so much more luck just getting a normal booster pack or buying old cards independently. anytime I opened one I would just get a small select few 'oldish' cards, nothing to get too excited about not rainbow rares to anything on that level just a reverse from my experience.
I’ve never even seen these but to be fair the west coast doesn’t even get many things the rest of the country gets. They do not seem worth it though. Thanks for the video and illuminating us on the wide range of products out there.
I usually keep all the reverse holos, even the common ones. My oldest reverse holo card happens to be Lucario from Diamond and Pearl base set (yes, from freakin 2007 even though I bought them somewhere in 2010) which of course I still have it to this day
