1) He has a really hard time actually falling asleep unless he's holding you
2) Once he's out he is OUT, it's like sleeping next to a log
3) If you tried to roll away from him he would scoop you right back up
4) If you go to sleep before him then he will play with your hair (pet it, brush his finger through it) to wind down
5) He is so warm that y'all have to sleep with only a sheet or else you might overheat

I saw someone else post their sleeping with Kyojuro head canons so here are mine:
He likes it when you sleep on top of him and use him as a pillow
He always sleeps with his arms around you, even if you get into a fight or it the hottest night off the summer, he beg for cuddles or just wait till you’re asleep
He’ll rub your back or give you a massage and talk about the first time you guys met or his favorite dates you two have been on while you fall asleep
If he wakes up in the middle of the night he’ll stare at your face and give it a few kisses before going back to sleep
If you two have a kid he’ll insist that they sleep in between you two so he can cuddle you both and when the kid is old enough to sleep in their own room he’ll still let them climb into bed with you if they want to

Since everyone is putting their Rengoku sleep/bedtime headcannons, here are mine:
1. If he notices you're awake still or have woken up in the middle of the night, he will hum to try to help you sleep.
2. He sometimes gets midnight snacks. If he sees you've gotten up (most likely to use the bathroom) he will shyly offer you some.
3. If you are the little spoon, he will sneak neck kisses while you're asleep.
4. He loves having your head on his chest. In this position, he can and will play with your hair.
5. If y/n has difficulty sleeping, he will talk to them in a low voice, and will keep talking to them until they fall asleep. Even if it means he has to talk complete nonsense to keep going.
6. He secretly sniffs your hair because he finds your scent comforting (don't make this weird, okay).
7. He sometimes dreams about his ideal future with you. Things like getting married, having/adopting kids, a new house, getting old together, etc. But he will never tell you about these dreams.
8. If you roll away from him, he will pull you closer.
9. Before bed, he will read your favorite book to you.
10. He loves the way your bedhead looks.

I suck at head cannons, but here's a lil scenario.

You were laying in bed alone, Kyojuro was out on a mission and hasn't came back yet.
You were having some trouble falling asleep because you were a little worried about him, but you knew he would be able to handle himself just fine.
So you eventually fell a sleep.
The next thing you know when you wake up, you feel like something heavy and warm is resting on you.
You open your eyes and find yourself face-to-face, or more accurately, face to chest laying in bed with someone.
It doesn't take you long to realize that it was Kyojuro passed out next to you, cuddling you.
He must've came back from his mission when you were sleeping and came to snuggle with you.
His arm was around your waist while the other your head was resting on.
Your legs entwined with his while cuddling.
And his chin resting right on top of your head.
Letting out casual grunts every here and then as he was sleeping.
By the looks of outside of the window, it was still nighttime, so you decided not to wake him up and continue cuddling with him.
You enjoyed his sent, him being there, was so calming that it could put you to sleep right then and there.
The feeling of his arm wrapped around you made you feel safe and comfortable.
You gave him a small kiss on the chest, And you eventually fell back to sleep in his arms.

ok, but HC that when you go out and do some outside activities (like camping and such), Rengoku likes to sit against a tree so you can sit between his legs, and you end up taking a nap, with him hugging your waist and his head on your shoulder. His grip is gentle but firm, if you ever so much as shiver under him, he tighen it up.
Also, he covers both of you with his Haori, no matter if it's hot or cold, he just does it out of protective instinct.

I love Rengoku so much because of what he stands for… for the first time in my life I have been dealing with deaths/serious illnesses both in my family and among friends, it has just felt like darkness has been surrounding me lately. I barely know how to cope. Rengoku’s character is heavily related to death, yet he was so fearless and optimistic till the very end. I didn’t know how to handle death for a long time, but seeing his story I start to get a sense of direction. He is the first character that truly felt like a comfort. An attitude to strive for throughout darkness. A fictional character… but a role model to me that makes me feel safe. Just a couple hours ago, someone important to my family passed away. I try to distract myself from grief, so this video is helping me cope… it really means a lot. I know he’s not real, but it’s comforting to have the idea that he’s here. Thank you.

I have some ❄head cannons for yall❄
When iguro was young and first free, he would snuggle Kyojuro at night. He finally felt safe, warm, he basically had a brother now. Him Kyojuro and Senjuro would all snuggle at night. And tbh, they still do sometimes. Lifes been rough? They cuddle for a bit. They could genuinely care less what other people think.
He has sleep overs with Kanroji, and they have matching pjs and little tea talks, whenever Kanroji gets cold and the blankets not enough she snuggles up to Kyojuro because hes super warm. A whole pillow.
Kyojuro and Tengen are obviously bros. Theyve fallen asleep sitting next to eachother quite a few times. And since Tengen is so used to sleeping with his wives, Kyojuro always gets pulled in close. He gets the BEST cuddles from Tengen.
He has a hard time sleeping alone, he just gets really really anxious. To deal with this, he has like body pillows to cuddle, stuffed animals. Something to hold.
He doesn't really feel hot, so he always uses heavy blankets and everyone thinks hes crazy.
(Pretend he survived mugan train) Tanjiro fell asleep next to Senjuro holding Kyojuros hand many times while he was in recovery. He was im a coma, but he was very aware of Tanjiro and his little brother and Tanjiros friends holding him.
He is the BEST at big sleep overs. Since hes basically everyones big brother, he has fun little get togethers with Mui, Genya, the main 3, everyone just trusts him to make sure everyone is safe and has a good time.
Of someone is cold, or they like fall asleep on his shoulder, he puts his haori on then if he doesnt fall asleep first because he doesnt want them to be cold.
The head cannon I have yet to see, rengoku is a mouth breather, he’s got sinus issues 😭😂❤️🔥

As the mini storm wracked the city that night, the rain poured down heavily accompanied by sporadic gusts of wind. Y/N shuddered at the sound of it all. "I feel sorry for anyone stuck in this...," they mentally mused to themself.
"It's a good thing we're here together in this cozy apartment rather than out there." Their head turned to follow Kyojuro's hearty chuckle, their eyes resting on his reclined form settled into bed waiting for Y/N. "Hmm, why don't you come join me in bed? Even with my high body temperature, It's cold without you here."
A blush dusted Y/N's cheeks momentarily, but she smiled coyly with a small chuckle and toddled over to the bed. They tucked themselves under the blanket and rolled in to Kyo's practically open arms, coming face to face with his chest.
Y/N peered up from his chest to look up at Kyo. He greeted her with a warm smile.
"Are you cozy," he asked with a gentle tone. Y/N nodded and buried her face into their lover's chest once again as their bashfulness painted their face beet red. Kyojuro giggled as they did so and hugged them close as he planted a smooch to their forehead.
He stared at her softly and after a slow blink cooed "I love you so much." Y/N slightly hummed before responding with, "of course you do. As do I..." Their voice trailed off a bit as their tiredness caught up with them. "Ohhh dear, I know what time it is when you speak like that..."
"Sorry," they whispered. "You're just so--" They interrupted themselves with a yawn. "Cozy..."

Headcannons:
He loves to hold you as close to him as possible
If you fall asleep before him he will play with your hair so sometimes you would wake up with fancy little braids in your hair or something
He likes to sleep with 1 body pillow for the back and on top 2 normal pillows so 3 pillows for you guys to lay on
He as two beds in house so sometimes you guys will sleep on the bunk bed (top or bottom bunk however you will both sleep on the same bed anyway)

Don’t tell anyone it’s a secret 🤫: Take a pillow I use a small body pillow but you can use normal, you will need 2 thick blankets, and a stretchy pair of pants and a hoodie try to make sure that you will be able to keep those on it for a while it’s a little tricky to change, put the clothes on the pillow, then take ur thick blanket stuff the arms then the other blanket use for the pants there you go! A life size scarecrow that actully for cuddling! I use mine all the time! Senario is in the reply’s:
Scenario: Rengoku was on a mission so you were just waiting for him to get back, you suddenly got tired and got into cute PJs (of your choice) and snuggled up with one of his extra kimonos and drift of (however time you fall asleep here like an hour of somthing)
Rengoku comes home with a couple of scars but they weren’t bleeding he says “Little flame I’m home!” He hears no answer so he looks around for you finally he finds you fast asleep and blushes a little when he sees your using his extra kimonos
He didn’t want to wake you but was also tired like you were earlier so he carefully claimed in to be next to you and captured you in his arms and gave you a small kiss on the forehead and you both drift off into a deep sleep for the rest of the night
The next morning you wake up sweating like crazy and look up to see your boyfriend staring at you still snuggling up with you and you both finally get up and start the day:)
