Forgotten Sunnahs you should be doing; 1) Dusting of the bed when going to sleep The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said; When any one of you goes to bed, let him clear his bed by hitting it with his garment, for he does not know what may have come onto it. Then let him lie down on his right side… (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) 2) before you go shopping say that zhikr لا إله إلا الله وحده لاشريك له له الملك وله الحمد يحي ويميت و هو لا يموت بيده الخير وهو على كل شيئ قدير `Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyee wa yumeetu wahuwa hayyun laa yamootu, biyadihi alkhayru wahuwa ala kulli shayyin qadeer' (There is none worthy of worship in truth except Allah alone, He has no partners, He has the dominion and for him is all the praise, He gives life and he takes life and he is the ever living and does not die, in his hand is goodness and he is capable of all things) Whoever says it Allah will write for him thousand thousand reward and erase from him thousand thousand sin and raise him thousand thousand and build for him a house in Jannah! (An-Nasa’i, At-Tirmidhi) 3) Remember Before changing your cloth say "bismillah" 4) When putting on your shoes. The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said; If one of you puts on shoes, let him begin with the right. And when he takes it off, let him begin with the left. And let him put them both on or let him take them off both. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) 5) Seeking permission. The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said; Seeking permission is three times. If you are given permission then you can, otherwise return. (Muslim) Scholars have advised us that we should also observe this with mobile phones etc. You can try “calling on someone” three times and then leave it. 6) Using siwak The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said; “If it were not that it would be difficult on my nation, then I would have ordered them to use the siwak for each prayer.” (Tirmidhi) 7) Speaking good or keeping silent. The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said; “He who believes in Allah and the Hereafter, if he witnesses any matter he should talk in good terms about it or keep quiet.” (Muslim) 8) Untying the three knots The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said; “During your sleep, Satan knots three knots at the back of the head of each of you, and he breathes the following words at each knot, ‘The night is, long, so keep on sleeping,’ If that person wakes up and celebrates the praises of Allah, then one knot is undone, and when he performs ablution the second knot is undone, and when he prays, all the knots are undone, and he gets up in the morning lively and in good spirits, otherwise he gets up in low spirits and lethargic.” (Bukhari) 9) Saying bismillah and Aslam alykom while entering a house. The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said; “If a person mentions the Name of Allah upon entering his house or eating, Satan says, addressing his followers: ‘You will find nowhere to spend the night and no dinner.’ But if he enters without mentioning the Name of Allah, Satan says (to his followers); ‘You have found (a place) to spend the night in, and if he does not mention the Name of Allah at the time of eating, Satan says: ‘You have found (a place) to spend the night in as well as food.”‘ (Muslim). 10) Reading Surah Al Mulk and Surah Al sajada before going to bed. The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said; “A soorah from the Qur’aan containing thirty verses will intercede for a man so that he will be forgiven. It is the soorah Tabaarak Alathi bi yadihi’l-mulk [i.e., Soorat al-Mulk].” And Al-Tirmidhi narrated from Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not sleep until he had recited “Alif‑Laam‑Meem. The revelation…” [al-Sajdah 32] and “Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion…” [al- Mulk 67] Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

О Мухаммад! Изобличи бессилие этих богов и убеди неверующих в том, что истуканы не заслуживают поклонения. А для этого спроси их: ‘’Сколько звёзд и планет сотворили ваши боги? Сколько гор и рек они создали? Сколько животных, трав и растений они взрастили? А может быть, это они помогли Аллаху сотворить вселенную? Ничего подобного, и вы сами тому свидетели’’. Это - неопровержимое рациональное (логическое) доказательство того, что поклонение кому бы то ни было, кроме Аллаха, лживо и бесполезно. Затем Всевышний сообщил, что утверждения многобожников лишены не только логических доводов, но и подтверждения в подлинных текстах священных Писаний. О Мухаммад! Пусть многобожники покажут тебе, какое Писание призывает людей к поклонению идолам, либо расскажут тебе, какой из Божьих посланников заповедал поступать таким образом. Многобожники не могли ничем возразить Пророку, потому что все посланники Аллаха проповедовали поклонение единому Господу и запрещали людям поклоняться кому-либо, кроме Него. Единобожие является величайшим знанием, которое человечество унаследовало от Божьих посланников, и поэтому Всевышний сказал: «Мы отправили к каждой общине посланника: «Поклоняйтесь Аллаху и избегайте тагута!» (16:36). Каждый пророк говорил своему народу: «Поклоняйтесь Аллаху, ибо нет у вас другого божества, кроме Него» (7:59). Из всего этого становится ясно, что многобожники, отстаивая свои убеждения, не опирались на доводы и доказательства, а лишь строили ошибочные догадки и делали порочные умозаключения. Для того, чтобы убедиться в этом, достаточно просто ознакомиться с их вероучением и обычаями и спросить себя, какую пользу могли принести им в этой жизни и после смерти придуманные ими боги, которым они поклонялись всю свою жизнь. «Кто же находится в большем заблуждении, чем те, которые взывают вместо Аллаха к тем, которые не ответят им до Дня воскресения и которые не ведают об их зове?!». Они не смогут принести многобожникам и крупицы добра, потому что не слышат их просьб и молитв. Но даже если бы они слышали их зов, то все равно ничем не смогли бы помочь им в этом мире. И так будет до тех пор, пока не наступит День воскресения, а когда он наступит, то все, к кому взывали о помощи, помимо Аллаха, отрекутся от многобожников и откажутся от их поклонения им. «А когда люди будут собраны, они станут их врагами и будут отвергать их поклонение». Женщины станут совершать намаз во время месячных, а вервь ислама будет распускаться “верёвочка за верёвочкой”, и вы непременно последуете путём тех, кто был до вас, след в след, подобно тому, как одна стрела летит вслед за другой. И из множества групп останется только две, одна из них будет говорить: “Что это за пятикратный намаз, сбились те, кто был до нас, ведь Великий и Всемогущий Аллах сказал: “Совершай намаз в начале и конце дня и в некоторые часы ночи” [11:114], и будут совершать намаз дважды или трижды [в день]. Другая же группа будет говорить: “Мы веруем в Аллаха и наша вера подобна вере ангелов, нет среди нас ни неверных, ни лицемеров!”. Да воскресит их Великий и Всемогущий Аллах вместе с Даджалем!”». Это достоверное высказывание. Его передал имам Ахмад в «аз-Зухд» (С. 224), аль-Хаким в «аль-Мустадрак» (4/516, хадис № 8448), аль-Халлаль в «ас-Сунна» (1292), Абу Амр ад-Дани в «ас-Сунан аль-варида фи-ль-фитан» (3/599, хадис № 271) от Хузайфы. Аль-Хаким сказал: «Этот хадис с достоверным иснадом, но они [аль-Бухари и Муслим] не привели его [в своих сборниках]», аз-Захаби подтвердил слова аль-Хакима. Также привел Ибн Абу Шейба в «аль-Мусаннафе» (7/140, №34808), Абу Нуэйм (1/281), ат-Табари в «Тахзиб аль-асар» (1006), Ибн Батта в «аль-Ибана» (№ 8 и 716).

И из множества групп останется только две, одна из них будет говорить: “Что это за пятикратный намаз, сбились те, кто был до нас, ведь Великий и Всемогущий Аллах сказал: “Совершай намаз в начале и конце дня и в некоторые часы ночи” [11:114], и будут совершать намаз дважды или трижды [в день].
Другая же группа будет говорить: “Мы веруем в Аллаха и наша вера подобна вере ангелов, нет среди нас ни неверных, ни лицемеров!”.
Да воскресит их Великий и Всемогущий Аллах вместе с Даджалем!”».
Это достоверное высказывание. Его передал имам Ахмад в «аз-Зухд» (С. 224), аль-Хаким в «аль-Мустадрак» (4/516, хадис № 8448), аль-Халлаль в «ас-Сунна» (1292), Абу Амр ад-Дани в «ас-Сунан аль-варида фи-ль-фитан» (3/599, хадис № 271) от Хузайфы. Аль-Хаким сказал: «Этот хадис с достоверным иснадом, но они [аль-Бухари и Муслим] не привели его [в своих сборниках]», аз-Захаби подтвердил слова аль-Хакима. Также привел Ибн Абу Шейба в «аль-Мусаннафе» (7/140, №34808), Абу Нуэйм (1/281), ат-Табари в «Тахзиб аль-асар» (1006), Ибн Батта в «аль-Ибана» (№ 8 и 716).

Forgotten Sunnahs you should be doing;
1) Dusting of the bed when going to sleep
The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said;
When any one of you goes to bed, let him clear his bed by hitting it with his garment, for he does not know what may have come onto it. Then let him lie down on his right side… (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
2) before you go shopping say that zhikr
لا إله إلا الله وحده لاشريك له له الملك وله الحمد يحي ويميت و هو لا يموت بيده الخير وهو على كل شيئ قدير
`Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyee wa yumeetu wahuwa hayyun laa yamootu, biyadihi alkhayru wahuwa ala kulli shayyin qadeer'
(There is none worthy of worship in truth except Allah alone, He has no partners, He has the dominion and for him is all the praise, He gives life and he takes life and he is the ever living and does not die, in his hand is goodness and he is capable of all things)
Whoever says it Allah will write for him thousand thousand reward and erase from him thousand thousand sin and raise him thousand thousand and build for him a house in Jannah! (An-Nasa’i, At-Tirmidhi)
3) Remember Before changing your cloth say "bismillah"
4) When putting on your shoes.
The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said;
If one of you puts on shoes, let him begin with the right. And when he takes it off, let him begin with the left. And let him put them both on or let him take them off both. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
5) Seeking permission.
The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said;
Seeking permission is three times. If you are given permission then you can, otherwise return. (Muslim)
Scholars have advised us that we should also observe this with mobile phones etc. You can try “calling on someone” three times and then leave it.
6) Using siwak
The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said;
“If it were not that it would be difficult on my nation, then I would have ordered them to use the siwak for each prayer.” (Tirmidhi)
7) Speaking good or keeping silent.
The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said; “He who believes in Allah and the Hereafter, if he witnesses any matter he should talk in good terms about it or keep quiet.” (Muslim)
8) Untying the three knots
The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said;
“During your sleep, Satan knots three knots at the back of the head of each of you, and he breathes the following words at each knot, ‘The night is, long, so keep on sleeping,’ If that person wakes up and celebrates the praises of Allah, then one knot is undone, and when he performs ablution the second knot is undone, and when he prays, all the knots are undone, and he gets up in the morning lively and in good spirits, otherwise he gets up in low spirits and lethargic.” (Bukhari)
9) Saying bismillah and Aslam alykom while entering a house.
The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said;
“If a person mentions the Name of Allah upon entering his house or eating, Satan says, addressing his followers: ‘You will find nowhere to spend the night and no dinner.’ But if he enters without mentioning the Name of Allah, Satan says (to his followers); ‘You have found (a place) to spend the night in, and if he does not mention the Name of Allah at the time of eating, Satan says: ‘You have found (a place) to spend the night in as well as food.”‘ (Muslim).
10) Reading Surah Al Mulk and Surah Al sajada before going to bed.
The Prophet of Allah (SAWS) said;
“A soorah from the Qur’aan containing thirty verses will intercede for a man so that he will be forgiven. It is the soorah Tabaarak Alathi bi yadihi’l-mulk [i.e., Soorat al-Mulk].”
And Al-Tirmidhi narrated from Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not sleep until he had recited “Alif‑Laam‑Meem. The revelation…” [al-Sajdah 32] and “Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion…” [al- Mulk 67] Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.
