Love this series, definitely feels like art for the sake of art. Also it's very fitting that a Felix Colgrave animation be featured in the episode titled "Music" considering how much sound design plays into his work
6:23 that 9/8ths beat was something else. I couldn't even focus on the ASCII visuals while counting the offbeat 8:06 I don't know why, but the 80's music at 3/4ths seemed so unusual. I am sure there must be some 80's songs with 3/4th beats, or even weirder ones (Oingo Boingo must have some offbeat songs), but somehow my brain expected an 80's electronic song to have the usual 4/4 form, and hearing an electronic Waltz just had such uncommon beauty to it
The end has lights, lasers, and fire on the plants, they can catch fire even when green, fires can start during the rain too which is how they go on and get so bad before anyone notices. Please be aware that most fires do not start from sun hitting a glass bottle, or a cig but left on the ground, fire is started by lazers, and sparks mid air or within the plant, its part of techtonic plate movement, its fire ally.
