I had a lot of friends who moved, a lot more who stayed in the same town but who ended up having kids who drifted apart and a few more who ended up getting into things that weren't the best for them. All of whom I still talk to about once a year at least to make sure that they're doing well. But man when we do meet up every once a while it's so clear that we all miss the memories but we're just not the same people anymore and I feel like this song really hits hard on that feeling of wanting to connect but not being able to.

I'm only 20, but i already have one person in my past life and i wish we can try to revive our friendship. She was my first love, as we were kids, but we never dated. We became good friends, had a lot of stories about each other, had a lot of local memes that noone ever understand without explaining. But after we finished school something happened and we don't interact already two years. I feel that she can hate me for something, so i need to let her go. But letting her go feels like throwing away my favorite plush toy as a child. (terrible) This video reminded me, i can hit her a message to find out if we can start ower or continue our friendship
