My family bought this exact car, in brown and without the spoke wheelcaps, used, in 1973. It was still in great shape. I was 10. Eventually I learned to drive in that car and then drove it into my high school years. My family sold it in 1979 and bought a new Regal, which wasn't half as good a car. Fancier and more modern but without the same quality.
Later on, as an adult, I bought a "73 LeSabre and drove it for a number of years. They were cool old land yachts, large and comfortable on the highway. The downside was the gas mileage. But that 350 engine was indestructible.

I had one just like this when I was 18. same color outside and same interior color. It was a cruising tank. Loved it.

I learned to drive in one of these; same color. My Grandpa had 2; a 1970 and a 76. If I had 16 grand to spend, I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

Love the GM cars of that era. Grand-dad would buy a new Regal every four years. I remember the 70, 74, 78, 82, etc.
My first "real" car purchase was an 83 Caddy Couple de Ville w the Landau top. Coulda, woulda, shoulda kept it. Shame on me. 🥺
