I think the audio was made to be played on surround or something and got poorly converted to stereo but I’m so glad for that because the chorus sounded so interesting, Yoona Sooyoung, Jessica and Taeyeon sounded so clearly.

Nothing new there. What I hate most is when they do it for live stages too. Hyo and Sun solo parts are almost always an audience, group or monitor shot. We barely get to see their full singing parts maybe the beginning or ending of their lines but rarely the entirety. I always say if the girls have 5 outfits change for a MV every member should be shown in their individual outfits like in Hoot. Another is when some members are given solo shots yet others weren't like in Paparazzi. Nothing drives me up the wall that this. I absolutely hate that and believe each girl should get equal screentime. One of the very reason the boys MV is not my favorite.
Back then, I didn't think I'd see the day that Yoona's legs will be thicker than Yuri's and Hyoyeon's. I'm glad that Yoona steadily gained weight and everyone in SNSD is healthy 😊

This is not the demo. This is the 5.1 Surround sound mix being down mixed in to 2 channel. A lot of the vocals were on the center channel.
