@@allysson_ Oh you mean 1:46? Wow, I had to watch it three times in slow motion to see that it actually was a blunder. I could've known it immediately because white is in check and can't move the rook, so the rook must've been move before that. So he blundered, but got away with it. Maybe it was intentional, he was premoving his queen to take the rook.
For a moment I literally thought he flagged and got angry 😅 but looks like his retirement really has made him calm down and win these kinds of clutch games as well
Came down here to comment same thing - Levy's gotten so much better since he's retired - he plays best by far when he's calm and relaxed. Maybe all he needs to push his game on is to take on Hikaru's "I don't even care" attitude D
I love how that last string of pawn pushes were completely unnecessary considering the enemy king stayed near Levy's meaning Qg7 and was mate for several moves. But yeah, when you have 4 seconds left and you identity a string of simple premoves that assure victory, you just play them.
I was also thinking the same thing, but when your in great pressure you don't even have time to think, nor react to the incoming mate that he missed. I can get another queen and recover is all he was thinking at that point.
He probably thought the king would run up the board. By the time the king went down to h7 and h8 his mouse was already hovering over the pawn so he just auto premoved it. Definitely more fun this way though loll imagine him actually running out of time bc of those unnecessary moves
@@tatsuyasigh1906 I agree. It would of been a lot easier with more than one queen! It also would have been disappointing and disastrous if he would of ran out of time! 😂
I don't know why but in many of my games I'm always in like under 10 seconds, so it's really relieving and surprising when you win because it's just pressuring.
i think this clip shows that when levy just think about the position hes good at chess. The second he stopped talking he played chess, good moves. He is his own enemy.
@@Crashandburn999 he beat LP Supi who beat Hikaru. Ok maybe that part isn't so impressive but Supi beat Magnus in 18 moves. Agadmator has a video on that. Levy beat him. He drew against Daniel Naro multiple times, so yeah, Levy doesn't always get destroyed.

why is he so silent?
