I work in tech remotely and have ADHD so the idea of moving every month or every 3 months and have to rebuild my daily routine sounds like a nightmare 😂 I get why people would find being a digital nomad exciting though like geoarbitrage or access to nice weather year round. I am more in the "settle down" phase. Thanks for al the tips and I look forward to seeing more of your content :)

@@Anwar-AT It manifests differently in each individual. I value structure over novelty. Living in one place gives me structure. I personally prefer to travel for vacation so I don't have to worry about emails, presentations or constantly having to keep an eye in my phone so I can be fully present. That's me though, I've met nomads that can balance working a demanding job and live in a fun, exotic place. More power to them :)

I started out as a traveling remote worker in January 2022 with the idea that I would do it for 2 years; now I'm leaning towards 3 years. Regardless, there's definitely an end date, but like you, I will make the best of it for the time I'm doing it. And I'm going to CDMX next! Can't wait for the food...

Cuando empecé a querer trabajar remoto quería ser nómada digital, pero luego empecé a viajar más seguido internamente en el país y bueno, también crecí y empecé una relación y empecé a vivir sola, y me di cuenta que: 1. para viajes cortos es mejor no ir trabajando, sino de vacaciones. 2. para viajar mientras trabajas es mejor hacerlo por temporadas largas / ve a lugares que ya conozcas porque así no tienes el hype de la visita por primera vez y estás más "tranquilo" y puedes tener ese balance... Al final todo es válido y es un poco subjetivo, pero lo que dices no deja de ser cierto y ojalá le sirva a muchos que están empezando
Totalmente! Estoy de acuerdo con que es subjetivo y depende de la personalidad de la persona... quizás también depende del tipo de trabajo que tengan. Y si, estoy de acuerdo: viajes cortos son para vacaciones!... y para trabajar por temporadas largas, que es lo que yo menciono aquí como 'slow travel'. :)

But doesn’t having ADHD imply that it’ll excite you to keep changing stimuli instead of getting bored from the same places?
