Wasted Knowledge has the Last Word

The Last Word is a classic Pre-prohibition cocktail. So much so, we know you used to wear a trilby when you order one of these classics. No judgement though....just keen awareness 😳 The last word faded away for a bit after prohibition but was revived in the cocktail movement started in the early 2000's. Now it's a staple behind the bar, though some tweaking may have to be made for the Chartreuse.
recipe:
in a shaker with ice add 3/4 each of Luxardo Maraschino, Gin, Green Chartreuse, and lime juice. Shake and strain up, garnish with a charry of choice.
