I have a cat who turns into a concrete statue of himself at the vet, with octopus suction all over her belly and legs. She becomes incredibly heavy and can cling to the carrier even when upside down. I’ve got top opening carriers so she can be lifted out as if by a crane. This takes care of the suction but she still weighs about 50 lbs more than usual and comes out as a solid unmoving lump 😅
Haha, that sounds like quite the challenge! Cats definitely have a way of turning into solid lumps when they’re not thrilled about something. The "octopus suction" clinginess is so relatable-it's like they have an uncanny ability to make themselves as heavy and immovable as possible.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like Oliver was such a calm and cherished companion. The quiet observers like him often have a special way of making us feel comforted with their presence. RIP Oliver-he will always have a special place in your heart. 💝
Great point! Bird strikes can be so heartbreaking. Hopefully, they added decals or other deterrents to make the windows more bird-friendly and prevent future accidents.
Haha, that's a great piece of advice! Falling asleep with glasses on can definitely be uncomfortable and might even lead to them getting bent or scratched. It’s always nice to give your eyes a break, too!
Noooooop. It, s " constandinoupolis", actually, and it will always be, no matter what cannibals do what. Nevertheless, Instabul is the leftover fron the Greek "εις τηνΠολην " which is pronounced " es tin Polin", which repeatedly is heard as " Instabul", and means In constandinoupolis. For everyone's information. Thank you
Vets are wonderful

Hope that vet put something on or over the windows to avoid future bird strikes! 🦅

Don't fall asleep with your glasses on.
