I have just finished my second doily in a white glitter yarn and love it even more. Planning my third one tonight and have two more in mind before I move on to one of your other patterns. Not only is the pattern great but your tutorial is great also, the speed of your speech, the repeats and the close ups. Thank you again.
I absolutely loved following this tutorial! It turned out better than I had hoped! I am somewhat new to crochet and this video was very easy to follow Thankyou!
This is an absolutely beautiful pattern! I picked it because I plan to make a bolster pillow for my granddaughter and this pattern is perfect for the ends of the bolster! Your instructions are great! I had to slow it down to X.75 for the last part ( for my understanding) but your instructions are easy to follow! Thanx again for this tutorial of this pattern!🌻
I love this doily. Mine has come out beautiful. I plan to make several more in different colors and with different types of yarns. I am also planning to sew some onto hoops to hang on the wall as art. I really love all the texture and design. Thank you for some great tutorials.
@@lisainfl210 I actually single crochet them onto the hoop. I keep hoops of various sizes on hand that I got from Dollar Tree. The little metal ones are a little harder to crochet onto but I use scraps of yarn to tie it at 8 points or so and then crochet the point onto hoop, sc in between and yes I have to guess. I have just tied it at the points and put a dab of glue on the knot, let it dry and then clip close. I also use hula hoops from the Dollar Tree that I got in 3 sizes. On those it takes quite a bit of yarn to cover plastic hoop between the points. I don't put a hanger on it as I have been hanging them on the door with an over the top of the door wreath hanger. Since I used different yarns, they came out different sizes and I was able to match to one of the 6 sized hoops I had. Some people whip stitch them on but being a crocheter I found the long strands more awkward and more ends that just crocheting. I hope this helps.
