Never had that issue until yesterday actually. I took apart the blower and thoroughly cleaned the wheel and intake screen. This was on a frymaster though.
Just an FYI if the vent fan on the fryer is not blowing well for some reason it will burn up the burner as well. I hate gas fryers also!! I work on frymaster and henny penny's not this style but that fan if it's not set right it will burn up the burn quick. Just a thought
@@ReubenSahlstrom if you go to frymasters website there used to be training videos you could watch. Not sure if they are there anymore or not but I found them very helpful
Actually, yes. I did more trouble shooting after the video concludes. I was unable to video as I was on the phone with tech support and they confirmed that the burners were bad.
By the looks of that thing, the health dept may need to be called too. lol.
@@DiamondMinerIvins I've never seen one like that, or that dirty
@@hollymccurry0132 , I was going to say, " Clean that thing first and see if all that crap made the fire spread."
Sweet video man. Thanks for showing the people the things! May the wind ever be in your sails!
Have you had a pitco burn off gas above the flue in the back? With correct gas pressures

@@ReubenSahlstrom turned out it was filthy below the vat. Full of soot. Tacobell👎…✌️🤘
Remove the burners and clean the screens on them. This is what causes the popping.
Good job 👍

Thanks! I appreciate the extra information. It seems like airflow, airflow, and airflow are very important.

I should take a look there. Their tech support is great, and I use the manuals as much as I can to troubleshoot.
You seem like me. We work on everything.
Pitco is known as the exploding fryers. There is a kit to alleviate this.
Yeah, it's called Frymaster.
Well if you keep the unit and maintain it better you wouldn’t have that problem
couldn't you make a determination if it was repairable before you made repairs? Seems you did extra work for nothing!
