I'm very surprised by Rallier buff, dragons are really common midgame tempo in my games and Rallier is the reason for that. Maybe dragons aren't doing very well in winning lobbies but they seem great midgame. I love Deathscale, I think its so fun to play with but I also can definitely acknowledge its the main culprit in many many problematic combos so it needs to go.
In my experience deaths head sage has been absolutely insane. The only time I played it was in a duos lobby and being able to get 12 blood gems for 2 gold per turn was extremely stupid.
looks like you mistook voone for voljin which would explain why you found it confusing. That being said, I though voone already had a decent buddy so I'm not sure what would improve it, maybe bumping it down a tier?
Think the craziest I saw Cabra do is turn a 6/3, JUST SPAWNED, Undead/Dragon 6/3 into a 146/143. Pretty sure a bugged Sneed Buddy caused it, cause it was doing Death rattles that hadn't been present on the board at the start of the fight
@QuickSilverKitsune wasnt a bug, right now cabra gives 2/2 per death rattle trigger whether they spawn or not, so if we had 1 single monster with 5 deathrattles on it from Sneed. We attack in with a golden macaw and a regular Titus that 4 card combo just gave our entire board 40/40 since we triggered the 5 death rattles 4 times each. Gets bigger when you have more than 4 cards but yeah with the same setup you'd only get 2/2 if it only gave stats when a deathrattle dies.
I think ghoul-acabra will have a text change to "the first time a deathrattle triggers give X/X". They're probably gonna revert the trigor back to giving health and the sky bird will probably lose stats and go to +1/+1
Havent played snake eyes but i do got the buddy from scabs buddy. Next turn it highrollinh pretty hard and got the spell to make it golden instantly 😂 Do i won that game? Nope. Ghoulpacabra reigns supreme. 😂
idk. honestly tier 4 is fine with Alex. you have NO hero power until then *and* there's a point where it doesn't matter anyway because you're arleady built - let alone it's a choice of 3 dragons per turn and no guarantees of what you get. maybe dropping it from a choice of 3 to a choice of 2 if they really think it needs a nerf
Quilboar definitely needs some help with scaling because the meta is simply too fast. Beast + ghoul nerfs were expected. Slightly surprised to see dragon buffs, but the minions that are being targeted aren't hugely impactful so I can't imagine it making a big difference. Sad to see deathscale go :(

played a duo last night and they had a golden mcaww trigger into a beatboxer that must have had 75 death rattles with a barren on there board goula-cabra triggered so long I thought the game had broken combat ended there minions gained +600 +600 and I had one second to perform my next turn...…. true blizzard balancing
I wish they could find a sweet spot for Beasts instead of doing a series of massive buffs and nerfs. Professor Putricide is a below average hero, except for the top 1% of players. Very bizarre that they're nerfing it.
Well, good thing they're buffing Moon Bacon Jazzer if they're removing Draconic Deathscale then, love that card, can't believe it's going. But will be very happy to see Gem Smuggler returning!
Me and my brother discussed Ghoul-acabra few days ago. There is a list of our solutions: 1. Change it to +1/1. 2. Make it Specific tribes (may be 2, 3 or 4). 3. Delete this Casino BS pls.
The game is so fast at the moment I have found it really hard to spend the 65 gold to get Thorims hero power to work. I'm probably missing a trick but maybe a slight cost reduction?
@@Heretic721 my guess Buddies use case is: 1. VERY Meta dependant. 2. is TOO Hectic to get it into 1hr video... (you basically need to decide on the fly every single turn in this meta)
With smuggler and synthesizer buffed and hunter added, maybe kalecgos builds will be able to work now. Although the removal of deathscale hurt this plan and the transition from permanent buff dragon to battlecry dragons is complicated. Hunter also helps permanent buff dragon to scale health, which is the main problem of the build. Although it doesn't seems that good at it unless I missed a combo.
Is Madam goya even in the game, I played close to 100 games of duo bg's and I have never once saw an opponeny goya or goya being one of the hero choices I have or my teammates hero choices
yeah lets try to balance the least balanced version of the game , instead of getting rid of some of the useless heroes so people don't auto concede every 2 or 3 games.

I could see Alexstraza's hero power moving to "at the start of the turn" to prevent it from becoming too valuable
They could change Cabra to only trigger when a deathrattle dies, not when triggered. Would be a significant nerf.

BGs Duos has been a BLAST ever since the release, but now with buddies I'm feeling like returning to standard until they rotate them away 😞
I must have the worst luck with Snake eyes. I've gotten a hero three or four times and the buddy has never rolled above a 2 for me ever.

Snake Eyes is insane. Free spells every turn and all it takes it one Eyes of the Earthmother and you basically have a money machine.
You say it's bad until on turn 6 you discover a ghoul and the game is over :))

Thorim is one of the worst heroes in the game,so youre not the only one struggling.
Thorim definetly falls behind in this meta. It is really hard not having a hero power for so many turns.

I never include buddies in guides as there are too many use cases. The buddy section alone would take a hour!

Dragon boards haven't won games since the nerf. This helps their mid game, but they still won't win the lobby, they already are fine in the mid game.

Inge is really strong thanks to the buddy if you play correctly I gotten 128/128 stats with one hero power
