HUGE Suns fan here. 96-97 is one of my top 3 favorite Suns teams. (92-93, 04-05 obv being the others) they started the year 0-13!!! How crazy is that!? Then they acquired Jason Kidd. Then Cedric Ceballos at the deadline, to go along with Rex fn Chapman, a reborn Kevin Johnson playing 2 guard, Elliot Perry, and a lottery pick trying to find his identity. Little pg from Santa Clara named Steve Nash. If only they could've acquired Antonio Mcdyess how they did the following off season! I honestly believe the would've challenged Utah for the WC championship

It would've been interesting to see what the suns could've done had they had this group together for a full season.

That Phoenix team in 1996-97 was loaded with talent and solid...that team would have been a dynasty today.
