Thank you! You are one of the best Jeep DIY Video presenters I've seen. You go into the fine details. This is necessary. Hell, I'm not a jeep dash light expert, I already have a day job. I like seeing the actual light being removed, then replaced. GREAT JOB!

I didn’t know there was a climate control light!! I’ve been pulling out my flashlight to turn up the heat haha.

Thanks a lot for this video, I'm very glad that this can be installed on a 92 xj, I've been thinking about switching to leds for a while now

Well, this video was strangely the “only” pre-97 Cherokee interior bulb replacement tutorial I could find, so a big Thank You. But, I’m still curious how I go about getting the 4 lens covers removed from the overhead console to replace the map lights. You talk about how you did it, but the lens cover you remove has already been dislodged at the button when we see it; and that’s my issue with my Briarwood. I tried prying from atop the button, but none of the 4 covers will come off (with any ease). I feel like I’m just about to break them. Can you comment exactly how you went about prying them all off; or better yet, upload a video of you tackling the lens cover, from the very start? They’re the only bulbs for me to replace, and I just don’t want to break anything. I ASSUME that’s there’s just one small centered tab at the black button section of the lens cover; and you push in, then down to open it… Confirm?

I’m going to try and take down the console entirely. I’ll let you know how that goes… Doesn’t state how to remove it in the manual.

This video is awesome, thanks! I just replaced the headlight switch in my '95 Cherokee Sport over the weekend and realized the left side of my gauge lights were out, so I'm going to do this whole upgrade instead of just replacing one.

It's a gun rack from walmart. It's easy to miss but is on the bottom self near the gun section

Nice video just what what I was looking for! Did you install that overhead panel light housing or did the jeep come with it?

Thanks! I installed it but it can be found on some XJs as a factory option. Very rare to find.

are you able to dim them still? how do the green cluster ones look in person?

Just stopped by! The blue and green sets don't dim. The blue is definitely not too bright. It's perfectly visible - no complaints reported either way. The green set is brighter than blue, but there isn't a consensus on too-bright or too-dim. I've had exactly one complaint each way. Unfortunately, the blue and green sets sell super slow, so I'm discontinuing them. On the other hand, the white sets dim! Well, except for the climate control - but it's dim at best (due to design). Hope that helps!
