That's lovely that it shows everyone is valuable and has a place and disAbilty rather if it's physical or developmentalit shows how everyone is important and can live a meaningful life. Having a place to belong is so important. When Mary was making tea it made me so hungry.
I hope they're getting a reasonable wage. I have a family member with a cognitive delay who was working at a bank but they didn't treat or pay them well. They quit after putting up with it as long as they could since nothing was done to remedy it, and now it's a struggle for them to find something else. They're prideful and don't want to volunteer, but they also aren't realistic about their limitations at times and that can make it difficult not only to find work but also get along. It's unfortunate though because they have a good heart and they excel socially despite their more challenging areas. Nice to see such effort being made in a country to include people who really need that.
