About Jane, there is a theory her head is differently from the rest of her body, because she used her now headless doll's head for herself Also in Noel's lament there is a reference to Chicago (The pretty knife, that I stuck 10 times in his back)
No that is cannon, it's also why the children are extremely freaked out about her. Cause her hesd doesn't match her body. But you can tell with skme productions as they paint cracks into Jane neck where she got her head cut off and doll placed on it.
So you know, Jane is the fifth character to get a solo. After this is a makeshift birthday party for Jane and then Constance sings. Order: Ocean Noel Mischa (he gets two songs) Ricky Jane Constance
@@FraserOliver There are also a lot of different opening songs used in different productions. Two well-known openings are Uranium Suite and Fall Fair Suite.
Uranium Suite describes the town and group opinions, while Fall Fair Suite shows some more personal feelings. Jane Doe is usually not introduced (other than in Karnak's Dream of Life) until after both. In the album the introduction (Jane Doe's Entrance) is its own song.

Ohh that's a interesting theory!
I don't know how I completely missed that in noels lament but the whole thing felt very Chicago!
I think that’s actually true (the dolls head one)
Also cabaret with the chair work

The Amazing Karnak (the fortune-telling machine) is a person in a costume ! Though I think for some productions he is a puppet
Oh that's cool, I'd love to see the person version
Personally, I find it quite horrifying for a person to be stuck in costume for approximately 1 hour without have no other movement than head movements
that was the person version, he takes off his mask at the end of the show to bow

The actress playing Jane Doe (Emily Rohm) was wearing black contacts.
That's terrifying
@@FraserOliver She has green eyes in real life. I’m convinced that’s why when Jane speaks with Ricky, she asks if Savannah has the greenest eyes.
