Sauternes is one of the underated wines in the world ( along with Tokaji Aszu). Thus prices aren't as expensive as its Bordeaux Reds. I always love d'Yquem and I try to buy a bottle or two each year

d'Yquem has gone up so much in price. At least I was able to try it once.

@@Mark-zu6oz at least it's not as hyped up as the Bordeaux, and Burgundy reds

Hi, Julien! Thanks a lot for your work. I really appreciate it! Please, can you tell me about the next thing: the whole Bordeaux region, in fact, is placed on the rivers banks. So why these territories where the Botrytis lives are so little? I also have been to the famous Tokaj region in Hungary and I wonder - there are a lot of places around the world with similar climate conditions. So, is the Botrytis presented there too and winemakers just don't want to use it or is there really some specific "micro" condition that allows doing such wines?
