CNN Mikey - FOR MY PEOPLE

FOR MY PEOPLE is the first release from Toledo, OH native CNN Mikey since signing to Polo G's ODA/Capalot Records. FMP is a glimpse into Mikey's world growing up in South Toledo navigating poverty, his environment and the consistent fears that came with both his parents fighting their respective battles with drug addiction. Mikey met Polo G at LAX in the summer of 2022 where he asked the Chicago rapper if he could play a song for him. After brushing Mikey off initially, Mikey refused to let the opportunity pass and Polo finally let him press play for him and his little brother/fellow artist Trench Baby. It was only a few months later Mikey and his independent label/mgmt 257 Songs entered into a joint venture partnership with Polo G and his ODA/Capalot Records imprint. Mikey is ready for the world to hear his story and inspire any and every underdog out there. If you were to ask him, he'll tell you straight up... I do this "FOR MY PEOPLE".
